Connection between doorbell button and receiver works great! Signal goes through double steel walls. Fairly easy to install, only had one issue. Found out that when hooking up additional siren/strobe wire you must open receiver case to access connection. Siren/strobe is loud enough to be heard on receiving floor with a lot of activity. Overall this is a great product for the price.

Great so far. Trim/less bulky than my previous one. Sound good. Works with my buttons I've had several years.

We were looking for a product that would work wireless thru a 90k sq ft warehouse ( so from doorbell button to receivers approx 300'with no clear path) stocked 24' high with packaging film for food products. The alarm bell is perfect as it is load and can be heard over the slitting machines. A simple to use and reliable little wireless doorbell. We are using it on the front door of a medical office to control who comes in and out - the practice is in a neighborhood with crime issues. So far it has worked perfectly.

We just installed the doorbell. My husband did it relatively easily. It sounds great. Kind of a deeper toned chime then a standard doorbell. It looks good with our newly painted white walls. It isn’t super noticeable, which is what we were going for.

We use this doorbell with 3 receivers in an medium sized office building. The strobe light is perfect for staff who have had difficulty hearing the doorbell in the past. Also, the doorbell is a good volume for everyone else in the space. I was concerned that it would be too loud for others, as you are not able to adjust the volume, but it is not.

I've got this doorbell in nickel finish and it looks awesome. The transparent part around the button is plastic and I hope it will withstand the heat of full day sun exposure in the PNW.

Everything is wonderful about this chime, except... I wish the chime cover could have been hung horizontally not vertically. That was my thinking when I ordered it and it did not specify in the description before ordering. A little disappointed.

My husband found this item online, and since we have a long rural driveway (1000') with a farm gate, and our house can't be seen from the road due to all the trees, a "remote doorbell" seemed like such a great idea -- and it is! He installed it a couple of days ago, and so far it has rung twice: first when Fedex came and second, UPS! It was fun going through all the tunes, and since the Canon in D was one of the songs played at our long-ago wedding, that was of course our choice. It works well, has an incredible range, and is just perfect for our needs. Reasonably priced too!

We love the doorbell. We had trouble finding a doorbell that would reach our 2nd building- going through a lot of walls to get there. This was NO problem at all for the ERA-DCKIT. Works great. Everyone we need to hear it, can hear (and see!) it when it rings. Thank you for having exactly what we needed!

I was looking for a replacement chime with cover that looked nicer than my original chime with plastic cover. The CH2401 Craftmade Wood Chime was the same chime base with an unfinished wood cover. I sanded the cover and applied 3 coats ofwater based semigloss clear polyurethane. The chime installed and works like the original. The finished wood cover looks very nice on the wall and goes nicely with the hardwood floors. The wood species is listed as oak, but, doesnt really look like oak.

Very handsome doorbell. Have a older semi craftsman style bungalow from the 1920’s. The old doorbell worked for about 95 years This is a nice style replacement. Four seasons art work looks great and in keeping with the house. We did have to add short pieces of wire to the existing old, short and brittle wires coming from the house exterior. Once these were added it was a quick and easy task to connect with the doorbell contact points Looks great, works well and I love the illuminated button

The organization i work for just moved to a new office space. It is a 5200 sq.ft. open/collaborative space with one main entrance. After a few days, we realized that we needed a doorbell. Getting a wired system in the building where we are leasing would be too much effort. So we decided to try a wireless doorbell from 1800Doorbell. True to their word, after it arrived I had in set up and working in minutes. i was able to set the chime loud enough for staff members in the back of the office to hear the bell. We couldn't be happier with this product!

My wired mid century doorbell was constantly not working. When it did work I couldn’t differentiate between the front and the garage door. This set solve that problem. It was easy to set up and install and now I know which door my visitors are at.

I now have 3 door bell buttons working. They are strategically located, with the enunciator mounted in the stairwell going to our basement. My wife is a paraplegic and this enables her to call me from three different locations in the house up on the main floor. I can her 'page' me from anywhere I am located down in the basement. Works very well for us. I am glad I was able to purchase the buttons to add to my system which previously served in the traditional door bell installation. Thank you very much!

I previously ordered a door bell from Amazon and when it arrived it was not what i expected. When searching door bell switches on 1000.doorbells.com I was able to ask a question and get a prompt answer and ordered and received just what I needed. It works just great.

Started out with a similar set up off amazon and they quit working fairly quick. That company sent out a replacement but same thing happened. I then came across this and spoke with support about it and decided to order. So far so good. Been installed 2-3 weeks now and all is well still. It would be nice if there were more options to choose from in the basic tones. The super long tones do us no good as we use them in a retail environment. We have two doors that they monitor and there are only two short tones to choose from and they are very close to the same so it is hard to really tell the difference.

Works great through thick walls (double drywall) and from the building next door. Sound is great quality. I like the variety of ring-tones. I'm only sad that the ringers do not work with an older style product that has been discontinued. The ringers/chime button are a much better product - more sturdy and the electronics is separate from the battery so we are less likely to damage it when changing the battery. Worth the price.

I like the construction of these items. They function as advertised and are extra long range. The different tones are great. I have 3 transmitters and am able to tell which one is activated by setting them to different tones. The receiver has a volume control and the normal volume is good but since I am nearly deaf I ordered the PA-Speaker and it is super loud. Most people wouldn't need it but I do. I am very happy with the Rodann Driveway Monitor and recommend it.

We previously were using a door chime bought from amazon that was not reliable at all - sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. When you have customers coming in your door without knowing it, that is a BIG problem. We switched to this system and it has been great - no issues. We were also able to incorporate the bell for our delivery door into the system - I just wish it had a knocking sound as an option.

We have a wired doorbell and did not want to convert it to wireless. The wireless unit that attached to our wired doorbell and two of the pug in wireless doorbells to extend the ring allow us now to never miss another doorbell call. Works great. Easy to install.

Our warehouse is an ICF building (Insulated Concrete Form), and the walls are 18 inches thick. Getting some signals to go through the walls is hard, and we've tried a few other systems that didn't work as well. We purchased this doorbell system after missing a few deliveries because the drivers wouldn't knock. You can hear it everywhere in our warehouse, and we haven't missed a delivery since! Perfect for a building that sometimes seems like a giant faraday cage. Our most challenging part of the installation was finding a steel stud in the exterior wall where we could mount the doorbell since the exterior of the building is stucco.

Works perfect! Has made a big difference in being able to get a good look as to who or what is coming up our private driveway!

We switched out all the wireless doorbells we bought at Home Depot and Lowe's in our warehouse to these Safeguard ERA-UTX doorbells and couldn't be happier. The old doorbells would go off intermittently every day when no one was at the door (I'm sure it was picking up some signal from outside). They would also stop working when it got really cold. These new doorbells are working well. We've also hooked up a strobe light for our back room where it's quite noisy. So far, everything is working well. Customer service was excellent!

Loud as advertised.

The battery-operated ERA-PIR-SPK motion-activated over-door entry chime has been functioning exactly as expected. It is basic, but fairly easy to set up and install. And it's consistently letting us know when someone enters through the double doors around the corner. We turned down the volume as our office is fairly quiet most of the time. It doesn't have the prettiest sounds. We went with the standard electronically reproduced "ding-dong" you've heard in countless convenience stores, but it's not an ugly sound, and there doesn't seem to be anything better sounding on the market unless you want to pay double. Seemed like a good price and easy install to match our simple needs.

Been a great purchase. Has work better then I could of imagined. 1500 feet away from my house. Even my dogs now understand when it goes off what that means. Great product I will be adding more

Haven’t completely installed as the ground is still frozen but it’s working great sitting beside my driveway. Good volume and choices on the alert. No false alarms. When installed the distance will be about 800 ft from the house/ receiver. Was easy to set up. Definitely worth the $.

I had recently installed driveway sensors on our front and rear driveways. At 12:18 AM the rear driveway sensor alerted us to an ATV, without lights on, coasting towards our machine shop and parked vehicles. We turned lights on and the ATV fled at high speed. We were advised the next morning that a residence two miles away was burglarized by someone riding an ATV during this same period.

This is a perfect solution for the back office to know when a client or delivery person is at the front door. It's nice to have so many chimes to choose from, so you aren't stuck with one annoying sound/buzzer.

I was always missing the doorbell and actually thought that I was not working but people at the door said they could hear it through the front door. I ordered the product and 2 of the plug-in-chime receivers. Chose this product because of the range being much further than others I looked at. Hooked it up for the family room and the basement. It works like a charm. I love the options on the receivers for the different chimes as well as the light, sound or both. I intend to order 2 more receivers so I can receive in the stand a lone garage and another location.

Purchased this doorbell to replace an old doorbell from the 1970's. This doorbell is small and fit easily on the wall in the front hallway, behind the front door. Very low profile which is what we wanted, very clean and simple design. Doorbell chime is loud enough to hear in the entire house and pleasant sounding. Overall a great doorbell, good looking, inexpensive and pleasant to hear.

Received doorbell in 3 business days. Took the old one down and installed new door bell and it worked great. Customer service was great to work with. I explained the situation and she gave me a recommendation that really worked.

Better than the online photo. I am very pleased with the look and feel of this stylish buzzer. I hooked it up to a multi-tone chime that required running a small diode between the 2 posts. Rather than connecting posts that are next to each other like my existing button, these posts were top and bottom arranged which gave me more space to make the electrical connections. My previous bell- really a loud, single tone buzzer- did not require the diode and though still a tight space to connect the 2 wires side by side- it was do-able. But I could not re-use my original button and get the diode attached as well. The extra distance with this new button's post arrangement allowed me to make all the connections. The bonus was how attractive this Craftsman button is at a very reasonable price. You will not find anything remotely like it in the usual big box stores we rely on for so many home projects.

My driveway is 3000 ft long through a forest. I put the sensor about two thousand feet from the house. I have two receivers one at the house and one at the shop. It triggers reliably every time. I have used their wired products for many years and have never had a problem. The range is incredible if I had line of sight I'm sure it would go a mile but to go a couple thousand feet through heavily wooded is amazing.
