The RC8532R is a versatile, battery-operated wireless receiver specifically designed to work seamlessly with the Carlon door chime product line. This receiver is a key component of the RC3510 battery door chime kit, providing reliable performance and ease of installation.  If you already own a Carlon (Dimango) wireless door chime transmitter, you can integrate this receiver into your existing system.

This allows you to expand your doorbell capabilities, add more chime locations around your home, or replace a faulty device. The receiver enhances your home’s communication system, ensuring you never miss a visitor at your door.

  • For mounting purposes, hole to hole width is 4-3/4”
  • This receiver is fully compatible with Carlon (Dimango and Thomas and Betts) wireless door chime products.  To use this battery-operated receiver, you must have a compatible wireless transmitter such as the RC3301.
  • Weatherproof capability makes this great for patios and decks
  • Powered by 4 x c-sized alkaline batteries (not included) that should power the unit for 6-12 months before you need to change the batteries (under normal usage)
  • The receiver has 13 different melodies and sound options to choose from…the transmitter will determine the available options.  RC3301 push button provides all 13 different options.  RC3050T (extend a chime transmitter) only allows 6.  See RC3500 for specific tunes allowed.
  • Flexible mounting design allows for vertical or horizontal mounting (also may set it directly on a tabletop)
  • 32 available privacy codes to prevent interference from neighboring devices
  • 1-year manufacturer’s warranty

2nd chime

I've had one of these for quite a few years. It still works well.
I've added a second chime to provide better coverage of sound throughout the home. Now I can hear the dang bell all over the house (which is what I needed).

Our old model of this exterior doorbell extender took a ****. We own a small motel where guests need to ring doorbel to gain access to our in-house office. As we like to spend time in our back yard and gardening it has been great to be able to hear when someone arrives.
