Does this doorbell unit have output terminals for a remote sounder? Phil asked on 07/26/2022

No it does not, however, it works well with this product: https://www.1800doorbell.com/era-exrpgx.htm which gives you the ability to add a remote doorbell receiver.

Does the transformer fit inside the chime box? I am replacing my old chime which had the transformer housed inside it. Thanks. Max asked on 07/05/2022

Good morning. Unfortunately, no, the transformer will not fit inside of the box with the mechanism. All of our wired chimes are installed with the push button wired to the transformer and then the transformer wired to the chime. The transformer would need be installed somewhere between the chime and push button. Thank you,
