Unfortunately I the doorbell button I ordered along with my new doorbell unit stuck when someone pushed it and we weren’t home, causing the doorbell unit to also break. Called up and they immediately shipped a new doorbell unit and button. They arrived on time and the new system is working great!!

Finally – a doorbell that you can hear and it connects to old wiring in a 1920’s house. The old chime quit working and I bought 2 kits that were awful. Humming sound, only one chime worked etc. Get this one! By the way, the chime is nice and loud – but, not annoying.
Unit was easy to install and now can hear both bells from upstairs. Nothing to complain about for sound or installation.

CL-DW Craftmade Loud Wired Doorbell in Two Finishes
The door bell I replaced was installed in 1979 and had been painted to match the walls. The new door bell arrived promptly and had the exact cover. The new bell fit exactly like the old one and I just exchanged covers without having to have paint mixed.
It is sufficiently louder than the original, but ot as loud as I wanted. This was the only option.
