The kit includes a wireless door / window contact and a wireless plugin receiver. Simply mount the door contact to the door using the included double sided tape, plug in the receiver, and when the door is opened, the plug-in receiver will play a sound and/or flash a bright strobe light.
The Anti Wandering Alert Chime Kit is expandable by adding more receivers
The kit comes with one plug-in receiver, however, the door contact is compatible with all LRA products to include the larger LRA-DCRX flashing receiver and the portable, vibrating pager, the LRA-VPRX. This means you can add more plugin strobe receivers (LRA-DCRXS) throughout your home, and/or add other types of receivers as well.
Add Motion Sensors and Other Magnetic Door Contacts
Each LRA-DCRXS (the receiver featured in this kit) is capable of working with a total of two different transmitters (door contact, motion sensor, push button). So, for example, you can put a door contact on the bedroom door, and a contact on the front door of the house. The receiver can be set to play different sounds for each contact, letting you know which door is being opened.
Wireless Door Chime Receiver with Strobe Features:
- Up to 1,000 ft. range from transmitter to receiver.
- May use in conjunction with multiple LRA-DCRXS Strobe Receivers and also with any compatible LRA receivers such as the LRA-DCRX and the LRA-VPRX.
