A Real 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you ordered something from us and it doesn’t work, we will make it right for you; that’s our guarantee to you. All of our products carry a manufacturer’s warranty that will cover the product for a given period.
“What if I just don’t like the way the product looks?” or “What if I am just not happy with it?” You can return any unused, unaltered item within 30 days from the date of purchase, and we will refund your money less shipping charges.
For a product to qualify for the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, the returned product(s) must be in resellable condition. The product must not show signs of use and must be in its original packaging to qualify. If the product is not in resellable condition, the product is non-refundable. Our returns department manager may waive this and refund your money for the purchase price of the product, less shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee in some instances.
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, notify us by e-mail or phone within 30 days of the purchase date, and we will immediately issue a Return Material Authorization Number. Typically, no restocking fee is charged, excluding special orders, if the items are returned in a resalable condition, which typically means in the manufacturer packaging, un-opened blister packs, torn open packaging, and no visible “wear and tear” on the product(s) itself.
- Items returned that show signs of being used or installed are considered used and cannot be returned
- If your item does not qualify as a return, we recommend listing your product on eBay or Craigslist, which are excellent ways of selling used products.
All items listed as “ALL SALES FINAL” will not be accepted if returned, and no credit will be issued. Actual shipping charges paid by us will be deducted from the purchase price unless the return is due to our error. From time to time, we offer free shipping. If you return an item and purchase the item on a free shipping website or did not pay for shipping, the cost of shipping the product to you will be deducted from the amount credited to your account. You must meet the following terms.
- Return the merchandise to us within 30 days of your original receipt of the order.
- The products must be returned in a new, resalable condition.
- You must include all packaging materials.
- Packaging materials must not be torn or damaged.
- All manuals and warranty registration cards must be unmarked.
- You must pay any return shipping expense.
- Display the RMA # prominently on the outside of the box to avoid delays to your refund.
- Items returned without first obtaining an RMA# will be refused
Almost all products sold on 1800doorbell are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, which covers the manufacturer’s defects. Please note that all manufacturers are different, and the return process with them is based on their process, not ours. While these processes are out of our control, we will certainly do our best to assist you with the return.
Upon receipt of the returned merchandise in good order by the above and within 30 days of original delivery, we will issue a credit to your charge account. You may elect to receive the store credit towards another purchase or simply receive a refund.
How to Start a Product Return:
Please note, if you ordered the product from our 1800doorbell or LHE Amazon Store, YOU MUST initiate the return through your Amazon account. This is in guidelines with Amazon’s return policy, and items purchased on Amazon must be returned through the Amazon system. If You Ordered the Item(s) Through the 1800doorbell.com website:
Call us at 800-366-7235, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and click this link to fill out the returns form.
- A representative will issue you an RMA#
- Find a shipper and follow their shipping instructions
- Please print your Return Authorization form and include it with each shipment back to 1800doorbell. You have 30 days from the day the RA is issued to return your merchandise so please be sure to print and ship at your earliest convenience. Please do not tape anything to the original product packaging! We need to get all products (and their packaging!) back in new condition. Place all merchandise in a shipping box; you may use the original shipping container. However, please DO NOT use the manufacturer’s product box as the shipping container. It will arrive damaged and our returns department will reject the package.
