Items received quickly but unfortunately they turned out to have a light bulb inside and here in the desert they heated up to 140 degrees (too hot to handle). I exchanged them for the real LED ones and now they can ring the bell without burning a finger. The exchange was very quick and painless as well.

This simple upgrade to your doorbell makes a big difference. The sound is clear and rich. The chime portion that shows on the sides is metal, the one I purcahsed is patna, and lovley. The cover is plastic, but looks very nice. This needs a transformer that is sold seperately. I highly reccommend this chime.

Using as a burglar alarm on back yard shed. Sends signal thru two shed walls, six foot cedar fence, brick exterior wall, four interior walls from 228 ft away. Easy to conceal transmitter using camo tape and a tiny homemade ghilli suit. Loud receiver alarm inside house. Can hear alarm outside house when set on high. This is my first purchase of 800Doorbell. So far so good. Versatile. Engineers thought out well. DIP switches offer excellent customization. Will buy more transmitters soon. Justa thought: It would be helpful to include a signal strength meter onto receiver.

IF there had been some relief in the decorative part for the electrical, it would have been easier to install. I had to Chisle out the brick for the electrical & pretty flower to fit flush.

I have to admit i was skeptical about this working through a metal building. I've always had problems with wireless and metal buildings!!! THIS WORKED THROUGH 2 WOOD WALLS AND A METAL WALL !!! My customers only complaint was the dc output timer wouldn't do less then 5 secounds.(maybe a dial so you could dial it to exactly what you want) 4.9 stars EXALENT wireless product as long as it lasts???

The door bell is beautiful and makes a great addition to my Victorian house. It is easy to install as well. The copper finish matches my houses door hardware throughout the house too.

The volume and sounds are easily adjusted, and turning the sensor away from the lobby (to face the wall) stops the chime when there are many people in the office. The one quibble I had is that while the doorbell unit was provided with a battery, we had to buy a 9V battery for the main sensor. While we have had the equipment installed for less than a month, I have no hesitation recommending it to others.

Love these alarms! They work great for our long driveway. Nice to know when someone is coming before they get to the house.

I bought an electronic sound generated doorbell from Home Depot. I needed it for my Simply Safe video doorbell. The Home Depot doorbell did not work properly. Not only that, it sounded cheap. I searched the internet and found this 1800 doorbell. It has an actual mechanical chime and it rings with good volume, clear chime sound and works great with my video doorbell. Highly recommend it

I've recieved your replacement doorbell with the light option. Never recieved the return shipment label with shipment. The light stays on all the time, when it was stating that it lite up when bell was rung only. The front door chime has only a single ring, not double. The rear door also has only one ring chime also, which was expected. The bell must be a defective bell that was sent out. Not pleased at all.with the whole ordeal at all... I'm living with it for now, although not pleased...

Love the roped frame and the light on the button for easier view at nighttime.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this doorbell button. It was extremely well-made, quite heavy in fact, The button action was sturdy and firm. It appears to be very well-made and much more than I expected for the price!

I ordered the large gecko doorbell in flat black. The 1st order came and it was in aged bronze and the front hand was broken off. I sent an email to customer service stating I received the wrong color and it was broken. Within a week I had a replacement in the right color and with no flaws. It's perfect. Customer service was awesome and they made it right!!

This product works well to provide adequate range, sound volume, and noticeability to the rung-doorbell alert function of a currently-marketed electromechanical doorbell chime unit that by itself produces inadequate sound volume to be heard in many areas of my house.

I found the exact replacement doorbell that I needed and they shipped it quick!

I have a 20 year old Dimango door chime that I really like, but the original doorbell button only worked "sometimes". The front doorbell is less than 50 feet from the chime and it passes through a cinder block exterior wall and 3 or 4 interior 2x4 walls. I bought 2 new RC3301 doorbell buttons from 1800doorbell because I also wanted to add another button at the garage entry door. I replaced the existing front doorbell with the new RC3301 and it functioned exactly as the original and the percentage of successful rings was better, but not perfect. I installed the second RC3301 out in the garage, it's closer to 100 feet away. I was able to select a different chime for it so I could tell the difference between the front door and garage door, so that was awesome. The doorbell at this location worked maybe 50% of the time depending on time of day, temperature or other environmental factors. So I was very pleased with this product, it did what was advertised and I would give it 5 stars even though it didn't meet my needs. If you are willing to spend a little bit more money, there is an extended length version of this product which is the RC4121. I bought one of these to put in the garage and it worked every time, so I bought another for the front and it also works every time. I needed a doorbell that worked every time and now I have two at different locations with different chimes, so mission accomplished. I hope I can remember which chime is the front door. 1800doorbell provided excellent service. They shipped next day and the packages always arrived in 3 or 4 days. They are highly recommended by a very satisfied customer.

Doorbell was easy to install. I wanted a specific door chime and you guys had it. I had a bit of difficulty paring the reciever with the transmitter due to the instructions. But after a few trials and errors I was finally able to pair them. Now the only problem I have is getting the maintenance men to use my doorbell instead of banging on my new gated door.

I am partially deaf and can jump out of my skin when someone comes in a room and I have not heard them enter. We use this system with a sensor on the back door and another on the stairway to the second floor so that I have an idea of when my husband is entering or leaving the house. It works perfectly.

Our doorbell chime is located in a back hallway far away from the front entry and was always difficult to hear. This doorbell takes care of the problem as it's very loud compared to the older one it replaced. Easy to install - glad I bought it.

This is exactly what we needed for our therapy clinic. I purchased another brand first but it was very annoying. It had only three volumes and the low volume was way too loud. It had 52 chimes but all except for one were tunes/songs which were completely unacceptable for our situation. This unit has a volume knob which gives you complete control over the volume. It also has more sounds that are appropriate for a therapy clinic instead of tunes/songs.

awesome product and service all the way around - I got a driveway alarm and receiver, and I also ordered one of the strobe lights for any time in which I did not hear the alarm, I would see the flash of the indicator. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with everything all the way around. I totally support the company and I will be a permanent customer - another thing that is great is that it is a Georgia company, and I always firmly support keeping business in the state!

Instructions are difficult to follow

Seems to be good so far. We haven't tried long distance yet. Haven't had to charge the battery since we received it 4 days ago.

This wireless reflector works well, and is nice that it will only notify you once when people are standing in the way instead of continuing to go off. Only think it seems maybe a bit sensitive to reflective light, so we might get a "cover" to try to shield it and see if that works.

strange that a small (but important) replacement item like this should be hard to find in the right size for (at least what used to be) a standard doorbell opening, but it was. Happily, the written description provided information to confirm the unit should fit and, guess what, it did. A small victory for a homeowner who didn't want to get involved with drilling into a stucco wall or trying to expand an old face plate. Only question is why the light is still incandescent v. LED since it's on all the time, but I'm still satisfied overall.

Weather finally got to the original after eight years! I was pleased to find it still is available. It arrived intact and works fine with the original transmitter, which drives two other extenders.
