This is an out of the box review, I am pleased with the kit containing 3 door buttons, one plug in flash/tone receiver and one motion sensor. The unit works well, the design of the push buttons are awesome. I personnally think someone should have an open mind about the tones or music options. The music options are aweful because I don't personnally like them. I had to chose DING-DONG, BIRD CALLS and one other option because I have three doors. THE MUSIC OPTIONS ARE OLD FASHION ..... I have not activated the motion sensor yet, because of a not included battery. Damn that's wierd are nine volt batteries that expensive? I am unable to review that device at this time. It's very light weight and the plastic housing is a concern for outdoor weather conditions. GREAT PRODUCT ..... !!!!!

There are two components in this kit, the ERA-RXPG receiver that plugs directly into a standard outlet, and the ERA-PBTX. The ERA-PBTX may be mounted with the included mounting screws or double-sided tape.

There is no limit to the number of receivers a push button works with. For example, you could have 1 push button, and when pressed, triggers 10 different receivers to strobe and chime. Each receiver, in this case, the ERA-RXPG, can work with up to 12 push buttons. So you could have 12 push buttons MAX work with one receiver, with each push button having a different ringtone.

Yes, it ships with a piece of double-sided tape. But be aware that the push button is a transmitter that sends the wireless radio signal to the receiver. Placing it directly on metal will reduce the transmission range (there are so many factors it would be impossible to tell you exactly how much). That said, it should be fine if it's a front or back door frame. The double-sided tape helps a little because it will elevate it off the metal a little, which helps with the transmission.

Good morning. If you needed two push button transmitters and one chime receiver then I would recommend purchasing 1 ERA-DCKIT and then an additional ERA-PBTX. Hello and thanks for your question. The ERA-DCKIT will play 12 different melodies or tunes. On this page, you can hear the different sounds--Fog horn is not one of them. The receiver in the kit can work with up to 12 transmitters/sensors at a time and you can use an unlimited number of receivers.
