BELLWIRE
BELLWIRE is a 15-foot bundle of 20AWG 2-lead doorbell wire for low-voltage chimes, push buttons, transformers, and related accessories. It is a handy replacement length when you do not need to buy a larger spool.

ERA-PBTX
The **ERA-PBTX wireless door chime push button has a clean, stylish design** which complements the ERA product line. With the same range as the rugged [ERA-UTX push button](https://www.1800doorbell.com/era-utx-long-range-wireless-transmitter-for-business-use.htm), the ERA-PBTX offers more appealing styling and a warm LED that illuminates nighttime visitors or deliveries. This push button is an excellent choice for warehouses and industrial locations, but due to its more stylish design, we also recommend it in places where you may have retail visitors or a perfect solution for your home.

ERA-DCRX
Enhance your ERA doorbell or entry alert system with an extra chime receiver. Hear the chime notification in other areas of your home or business. With an 85-90 decibel rating, this chime is one of the loudest alerts available. It is compatible with all ERA products, except the ERA-PIR-SPK, which is a standalone chime.

ERA-DSTX
The driveway alarm sensor/transmitter is a beam, motion sensor that is compatible with the ERA line of products from Safeguard Supply. There are 3 chime/receivers that can be used with this driveway sensor – the ERA-DCRX (Desktop or wall mount), the ERA-RXPG (direct plug in with a flashing strobe light) and the ERA-VPRX (portable chime and vibration). This is a best-in-class, outdoor-rated driveway sensor and transmitter with up to a 4,000-foot range. The length of the sensor beam is adjustable to 25 ft., 50 ft. or 100 feet.

ERA-RXPG
Safeguard Supply is proud to introduce the wireless long-range plug-in receiver, the ERA-RXPG. Compatible with all the ERA series of sensors and the ERA-DCRX. Mix and match them to create a solution for your environment. This receiver provides the flexibility of simply plugging the chime into a standard wall outlet. With three modes of operation – strobe, strobe & sound, or sound only, with handy volume control, it offers a loud sound and a bright flashing strobe to provide an audible and visual notification when a guest, delivery, or a customer triggers the sensor.

ERA-UTX
This universal transmitter is compatible with the Safeguard Supply “ERA” line of products. Use as a door/window contact or a wireless push button. When triggered, it will transmit a wireless signal up to 4,000 ft. to an ERA receiver – the ERA-DCRX, ERA-RXPG or the ERA-VPRX. The transmitter is powered by a 3-volt lithium-ion battery (included with the purchase). To purchase the complete kit, please see the **ERA-UTDCR Warehouse & Business Wireless Doorbell Kit Designed for Business Use** and the **WDK-ERA-STROBE Warehouse Wireless Doorbell Kit / Entry Alert & Strobe Light For Large, Loud Areas**.

Buying notes
Is this the right fit?
- Good fit when
- Use this when you need a complete setup with the transmitter or contact input and receiver included, instead of trying to match separate parts.
- Look at another option when
- Look at a separate transmitter or receiver when you are only replacing one part of a system that already works.
- Range reality
- 4000 ft is the published open-air range. Real-world range is lower when the signal crosses walls, metal, masonry, vehicles, shelving, or dense trees.
- Setup note
- Place the transmitter or contact input where the event happens, then place the receiver where the alert needs to be heard or seen. Test the signal before final mounting.
A Wireless Warehouse Doorbell with Strobe You Can Rely On!
Business Grade Wireless Warehouse Doorbell: A Warehouse Doorbell kit that works is hard to find. That’s because most products don’t have the range you need in a warehouse, store, shop, or business. Based on customer needs, you have created a doorbell kit designed for warehouses, shops, or other loud environments with a visual indicator.
Most Business Doorbells Are Not Loud Enough:
Many businesses need a doorbell or chime that alerts them when they have visitors, but their shop is too loud to hear a doorbell system. You can’t go to your local box store or hardware store to find something that fits your needs.
The next challenge is installation:

Business owners don’t want to run bell wire from the door (where visitors come) to a doorbell or chime but need a business doorbell for their store, office, or warehouse. Perfect for those who don’t want to hire someone to come out and do it, or cannot alter the wiring.
Most Wireless Warehouse Doorbells Don’t Have the Range Your Need:
When you cannot run wires across your warehouse or office, you need a wireless system; however, most wireless doorbell systems will not have the range you need to power through the concrete, metal, or other environmental factors most commercial applications have.
The Complete Solution: Long Range, Wireless Doorbell with Strobe Light
The WDK-ERA-STROBE is a long-range wireless doorbell kit with a flashing strobe light designed for business environments. The kit features an industrial-grade wireless push button that you mount on the door (you can add more push buttons as needed). When a visitor pushes the button, it transmits a wireless signal, up to 4,000 ft. away, to the plug-in receiver featured in this kit. Attached to the receiver is a bright strobe light that will flash, alerting you to the visitor at the door. This kit installs in minutes, is easy to maintain, and is reliable.
WDK-ERA-STROBE Product Dimensions:
- Receiver measures: 5.75” x 3.5” x 1”
- The push button (without magnetic contact) measures 3.38” x 1.94” x .81”
- Magnetic contact (without push button) measures 2” x .56” x .38”
Included in this Warehouse Door Chime Kit:
- 1 x ERA-UTDCR (includes heavy-duty wireless push button with mounting hardware and battery, heavy-duty plug-in receiver, and AC adapter)
- 1 x flashing LED strobe light (you choose the color)
- 15′ of low-voltage double-strand wire
Wireless Doorbell Transmitter (push button/Door Contact):
The commercial doorbell push button included in this kit is durable and outdoor-rated. Mount it to the wall using the supplied mounting screws or double-sided tape. The transmitter can also be used as a door contact using the additional magnet. The unit is shipped with a battery with an expected life of up to 2 years (depending on usage). Additional push buttons/door contacts and receivers may be added to expand the functionality of this kit.
Doorbell Receiver:
The long-range wireless receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet. It features volume control and will play one of twelve chime sounds when triggered. The receiver has four zones with LED lights that flash when a sensor in that respective zone is triggered. The receiver also features 4 x c-relays that allow you to integrate with other devices. Each receiver can pair with four transmitters per zone – allowing 12 different transmitters per chime receiver.
Bright Flashing Strobe Light:
The strobe light is connected to the doorbell receiver, with the 12V DC output on the back of the receiver. Using the dip switches on the circuit board, you can adjust the output, making the strobe light flash for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes.
WDK-ERA-Strobe Door Chime for Business Product Features:
- The range from transmitter/sensor to receiver is up to 4,000 ft. This is a line-of-sight measurement with no interference. Building materials and interference could degrade the signal, giving you less than 4,000 ft. However, in our experience, this is more than adequate for most shops, business offices, and warehouses.
- The transmitter in this kit may be used as a doorbell push button or a door/window contact. Multiple transmitters – up to 12 – may be used with the receiver (or multiple receivers).
- The transmitter is outdoor-rated, and the receiver is indoor-rated.
- The transmitter is powered by a long-lasting lithium battery (included), and the receiver is powered by plugging the included transformer into a standard wall outlet.
- The receiver has four zones, 12 sound options, 4 volume control levels (including mute and OFF), c-relays, and a live 12V DC output.
- The strobe light in this kit connects to the live 12V DC output terminal screws on the back of the receiver.
- The transmitter has a normally open (N/O) and normally closed (N/C) connector for integration with other devices.
The image below shows two different 12V accessories wired to the ERA receiver. For zone one, a strobe light (as featured in this kit) is wired to zone 1 on the receiver. When a visitor presses the push button, the zone 1 chime sound plays, and the strobe light flashes for the duration of the asset on the receiver. For zone 2, a siren, such as the SS-PSIREN-W, is wired in. When the transmitter/sensor for zone 2 is triggered, the receiver will play that sound, and the siren will activate for the duration set on the receiver. *note: the siren is not featured in this kit but is available in the WDK-ERA-KIT or separately purchased.
In the image below, an external device is wired to the C-FORM relay. Please note that when using the C-FORM relay, an external power supply for the 12V DC device must be used, and it is not packaged or included in the kit.
Expand Your Kit by Adding Receivers & Sensor
All products in the ERA series by Safeguard Supply are expandable, meaning you can add up to 12 transmitters per receiver and as many receivers to the kit as you would like. This kit features a 1 x ERA-DCRX desktop (or wall mount) receiver. You can purchase additional ERA receivers for other offices, rooms, or locations in your warehouse. In addition to the ERA-DCRX receiver, Safeguard Supply offers the ERA-VPRX Portable Receiver with Rechargeable Batteries.
This portable receiver plays the same sounds as the ERA-DCRX and is packed with features such as a counter and rechargeable batteries (charger included). With a standby time of up to 7 days, it is great for warehouse workers who are not stationary in an office and need to know when a connected transmitter/sensor is triggered.
In addition to adding receivers, other transmitters are compatible with this system.
- ERA-UTX: this transmitter/sensor is included in this kit. It may be used as a push-button or window/door magnetic contact.
- ERA-DSTX is a long-range wireless driveway alert or outdoor-rated PIR motion sensor. With a range of up to 4,000 ft., this transmitter is a great security addition to any home. Still, it is also excellent for businesses to detect when a delivery truck or visitor’s car passes through a monitored zone.
- ERA-PIR is an indoor-rated PIR motion sensor. Place the sensor over a door, hallway, or other area you want to monitor. When someone passes through the monitored zone, a radio signal is sent up to 4,000 feet away from the paired receiver. The mounting bracket lets you position the sensor so that the monitored zone fits your needs.

Great place to do business with! Highly recommend
this solved the problem at my store
Perfect for a one man shop, we have it setup to go off when a door opens. Easy to change the chimes and volume, plus the flashing light is great, just in case I don’t hear the chime!
Excellent

WDK-ERA-STROBE Warehouse Doorbell with Strobe - Entrance Alert Chime for Businesses
This was simple to set up. I was disappointed that I HAD to use the screws that were provided or none of the mounts would work. Works very well. But...I have serious reservations about how long this will last in our work environment. The doorbell portion is going to be in direct sun all day. I would be shocked if it lasts 2 yrs
Simple to set up and works well. We have it triggering a shipping/receiving dock outside our production facility 500 ft away from the receiver.
GOOD SO FAR
This setup works perfectly for our needs. We have 2 separate buiuldings, both receive deliveries. Now I can get alerted immediately when a delivery comes.
The product was the perfect solution to my needs. Inquired about programming 2 TX to the same output and adding 2 strobes to that output. Got speedy and accurate reply.
My daughter, grand daughter and I, owners of a three generation female-owned business, installed two kits of 2 receivers, 2 transmitters and 2 accompanying strobes in no time at all. The installation was a cakewalk for 3 mediocre-tech-savvy ladies! We were so satisfied with the outcome of our initial order that we ordered an additional compatible item. The customer service was exceptional and the order was received in 2 days.
We installed this unit in a detected gym at an elementary school. The staff loves the fact they can see the strobe while they have kids in the gym playing. Easy to install.
On time , working great and loud 👍
The is a great doorbell. The installation was easy and straightforward. The range is great for anyone looking to purchase this for a loading dock.

Oh it works great!
Bought the wireless doorbell works like a champ! Don’t waste your money on the el cheapo wireless door bells on Amazon they dont work, I had to learn the hard way.
Good Stuff!!!!
Talked to someone in their sales team about a more complex scenario where we needed multiple motion sensors and strobes to help alert pedestrians and forklift drivers at a complicated and blind intersection in our factory. They were very helpful in explaining the modularity of the system, and how multiple strobes and motion sensors can all pair to a single receiver, etc. Very low cost solution, and the equipment worked out of the box as expected, highly recommend.
Great job. Awesome work
It works and looks great (we got the blue light alert add on to the bell-that way we can “see” when folks ring the bell when it’s loud). Shipped on time as well. I installed it myself and I’m a girl! Seriously, it was easy to install and program. We are buying a second doorbell for our other door and plan to program it into the same receiver. Pretty cool.

Questions & Answers
Answers from our team for WDK-ERA-STROBES Business & Warehouse Doorbell Kits with Bright Flashing Strobe Light.
I'm buying the strobe doorbell chime for a deaf friend who needs strobes in several rooms — can I connect four strobes across the four zones?
Not exactly. The push button is programmed to one of the four zones on the receiver (ERA-DCRX). When that push button is pressed, it triggers the zone it is programmed to on the receiver to play a melody and also triggers the 12V output the strobe light is connected to. Each of the 4 zones has a 12V DC output, so only the strobe light connected to the same zone the push button is programmed to will trigger. You may want to look at the ERA-DCKIT: https://www.1800doorbell.com/era-dckit-wireless-door-chime-kit-guaranteed-to-work-in-your-location.htm. It is in the same ERA product family (all of them are compatible). This receiver has a switch to turn on a built-in strobe light. You can add as many receivers as you need to spread the strobe light and sound throughout the home. The push button will be programmed to the receiver and when triggered, each of the receivers will flash.

How far away can you place a strobe light on a given zone? I would need to wire a light approximately 50' away from the receiver. Is this possible and if so do I need to change to a heavier gauge of wire?
The 12V DC output sends 400mA to the 12V DC output, and each strobe requires 50mA. The wire we supply is 20AWG. You should be okay to run it 100. You could get another ERA-DCRX and move it close to where you need to mount the strobe, but I don't think you need to.
Answered for Dear997 C.
Are the components UL certified or have any other safety certification from any other governing body?
The only component in this kit that needs UL certification is the plugin adaptor that powers the ERA-DCRX receiver and it is certified. The plug has the UL certification logo and the certificate number on it. The transmitter is battery-powered and does not need UL certification. The strobe light requires DC power, and it is powered by the receiver and does not warrant certification.

Can I run 120 vac through the normally closed relay contact? For example, I want to connect a 120 vac siren to the receiver?
Good afternoon. The normally open/normally closed contact would need its own power supply. I have included a link for our FAQ's page, the first section would be for ERA questions and the third question down refers to using the C form relay. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell https://www.1800doorbell.com/faq/
Answered for Richard M.
Can 1 strobe be used for 2 zones? Eg. a front door and back door have separate audio alerts but both set off the same strobe.
Good morning. Each 12 volt output is connected to a zone which is paired to a transmitter. For example, a front door would be zone one and power the strobe light connected to that zone. A back door could then be zone two and power a second strobe light connected to that zone. The front door and back door could be paired to the same zone and alert the same strobe light but they would also make the same chime sound. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell
Answered for Customer
Can you add 3 additional strobe lights (4 total) of a different color to a single receiver (as well as a push button) that would indicate a specific zone?
Good morning. Each 12 volt output is tied to a zone which is then paired to the transmitter. If you wanted four strobes on one receiver, you would need to have 4 transmitters, one paired to each zone. For instance, a front door would be zone one with a red strobe, a side door would be zone two with a blue strobe, a back door would be zone three with a green strobe and the 4th door would be zone four with an amber strobe. Please call us at 1-800-366-7235 if you have any additional questions. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell

Do you have installation instructions you can share with me before if purchase this product? All I can seem to find is a user manual but no installation instructions?
Good morning. The battery operated transmitter can be installed with either the included bracket or double sided tape and the receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet. The 12 volt strobe light connects to a 12 volt output on the receiver. The transmitter would need to be paired to the receiver and pairing instructions are included in the product manual. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell

Does this system require Internet?
Good morning. The WDK-ERA-STROBE does not require the internet or wifi, it operates off of its own wireless signal. Thank you, Customer Support Team
Answered for Customer
What are the wiring requirements to install this product?
Installation is straight forward and fairly easy. I would recommend you take a look at the user manual which is available on the product web page. The sensor/transmitter has a mounting bracket to mount it to the door (if used as a door contact) or the wall (if used as a push button). The receiver sits on a flat service or you can also mount it to a wall using the pre formed holes on back of the reciever. Included in this specific kit is a strobe light and 20AWG wire. If the strobe light wire is long enough you do not have to use the included wire. Either way, the wire is connected terminal screws located at the bottom of the receiver
