I have used for a week now and the product has worked perfectly. I have two other front entrances and will be ordering two more today. It is refreshing to actually get what you pay for.

This is a good way to alarm a door, with both sound and light, so you know someone has opened it. And while no wire is needed between the door and control unit you will need to run wires from the control unit to the sound alarm and light. Not a deal breaker but good to know. The alarm has a variety of sounds to use and duration is also programmable so nice flexibility there. The strobe could be stronger though. I chose the Amber cover thinking it would be more noticeable but really it just seemed to cut down on visibility. I would get they clear cover for better visibility. It has made me more comfortable knowing when someone enters my shop and the price seems fair.

Fast. Had the system installed in a few minutes. It was ready to go for our special holiday event.

I ordered an extra transmitter along with the DI2000S-AG Driveway Informer Kit. I already have the transmitter from the kit set up near the end of our long driveway to alert us to people or vehicles approaching the house from the street. Since we don't have an actual doorbell, I installed this second transmitter on our porch so that we know when anyone has reached our front door. As mentioned in my review of the Driveway Informer Kit, the two screws for the mounting bracket and those for securing the halves of the transmitter together were very tight and difficult to remove. After getting them out, I applied some silicone grease to the screw threads, which made loosening and tightening the screws much easier and facilitating future battery replacements. Only two screws are used to hold the case halves together. I would prefer that four screws be used for this purpose so that the silicone gasket between the case halves will be compressed evenly all around its perimeter, thus ensuring a tight seal. I would like to see this product offered in a few different colors in addition to the satin green: Tan, brown, black, and even a camo pattern could improve the unit's concealment in different locations and environments. Overall, this is a very good US-made product and highly recommended should you need one or more additional transmitters.

These candles are simple to use ( 3 AA batteries) and have three settings: off, flickering, steady. The base is small enough to sit on thin sills. We love them and have replaced all our electric candles with them.

The system has been installed about a month and has worked very well. It sounds off every time and has given no false alarms. The ding-dong can be heard throughout the house. Customer Service phone support has been friendly and very helpful. Placed the transmitter on the side of a tree 42 inches from the ground so that small critters wouldn't set it off, and it is about 150 feet from the receiver. Deer still trigger the alarm occasionally, but that was expected. The transmitter could be offered in different color options in addition to green. Tan, brown, black, and even a camo pattern could improve the unit's concealment in different environments. The screws for the transmitter mounting bracket and housing were very difficult to turn initially. Once removed, a little silicone grease on the threads fixed that. Only two screws hold the transmitter housing together, leaving a slight gap on the screw-less sides. Four screws could hold the assembly more tightly together all around. The volume control's location and small size underneath the receiver makes adjustments a little inconvenient. A top-mounted control would improve accessability. The Driveway Informer is a very good system...USA made...and one that should last for many years. Very nearly a five-star rating.

This button can handle a wide range of voltage. If you have DC, use the + and - terminals appropriately. If you have AC, then just connect the wires. If you replace a very old button, you might have to enlarge the hole behind the button. We mounted the button sideways since we put it next to the mail slot.

I just installed a multi-doorbell system. It works great. The ease of setting up, and the ease of the use of their website would be hard to improve.

The Wireless Entry Alert has been working very well for us and we have been told that people have these that have been working 10 years or more. We have gone through 3 or more of the magnetic type of entry alerts within a short period of a couple of years and searched for a more reliable technology. These are fairly sensitive. We didn’t permanently mount them right away and ended up moving the alert location to the opposite door facing at one entrance to avoid extra dings from people walking inside the room. The family that manufactures these was very helpful when I called for help getting the receiver to pick up the door alerts. We got the equipment communicating in short order. We like having the options on the number of ding dongs. We like just one dong. You can have doors set to different ring patterns. It can be connected to strobe lights etc which we don’t need. I think the mounting bar would be better if it was centered on the door alerts. We put ours down low on the door facing and used Command strips. If they fall they are close to the ground and the strips are rated for several pounds, should be safe. A really nice USA based company product!

Very much like the mission style doorbell I ordered. It is a good look for our home and offers two different rings - one for the front door, and one for the side.

First, we got the D1000, it worked great. Then, we added the VPRX portable chime. It worked great as well. Finally, we added the DSTX driveway sensor. It wouldn't send a signal from up our driveway and through bricks and concrete basement walls to our D1000 there. So, we added the RPX long range extender. Now, EVERYTHING works as hoped! We work in the basement, so it's really nice to know when a delivery occurs or someone is at the front door.

Worked so well we bought a second unit for the basement.

I really needed just the electromagnet from this chime assembly. When the item arrived I realized it wasn't just a chime assembly but a ready to hang doorbell with an enclosure and everything. It's not the most attractive enclosure, but the price is very good.

This little, simple to install, adapter works like a charm! No need to mess with electric wires, just install a battery and you're good-to-go. We needed a modest entry chime/alarm to let our volunteers working in the back know when someone entered our used book store in the library. This is working very well and all the comments from our volunteers have been positive.

Very small receiver but easy to set up for two doors and differentiate the signals(doorbell chimes) . I have only had it up a couple of weeks but so far working well for my 80 year old tenant .

The doorbell works well and is as described with super fast shipping. I didn't give 5 stars because I wish it was a little louder. we have a 5,000sqft store and in the back you can hear it but its not at all loud with musi playing and people talking its easy to miss.

Adequate lighting from candle with C batteries. Bright enough to view it (sitting on window sill) from street. Bonus of no cords to plug in. Plan to purchase more for all street facing windows for the holidays.

The PR-2500 portable receiver does a nice job when we cant hear the other alarms. Fairly easy to set up.

Multiple chime selection can be used throughout the house, sending "messages". Buzzer, school-bell, "jingle-bells" as well as traditional ding-dong door bell and many others may serve multiple needs.

Unfortunately we have aluminum doors and it interfered with the magnet so we called customer service and To make a long story short they offered to pick up the unit and ship us a new one and all at NO CHARGE. I can spend way too much time researching products and never really be sure. This time, I didn't have to. When it comes to doorbells and how to get alerts in my small office, the woman answering the phone was really knowledgeable. There were lots of more expensive options and she steered me around them - said they were over kill for what I needed based on the questions. This thing works good, but it takes lots of adjustments and testing to get the placement of the sensor correct. It took a lot of messing around, but I got mine working good.

Works as it should and saves having to change batteries all the time.

Well made. Includes everything needed for a simple installation. Customer was happy, they did complain that the alert was too loud, however. (They were sitting very near to the speaker.) We wired a volume control in line with the speaker and this took care of the issue. I can see this set-up being extremely useful in a larger warehouse with a front office and back warehouse. It was too powerful for the tight space we were using with limited sight of the secure service window from the staff seating area. Will order again.

I called the number and talked with the representative and shared what I was needing to do. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, got me lined out quickly. My parts arrived on time and as ordered, and have been working well.

Loud enough of what we needed for our warehouse, but cannot have the buzzer On all the time for buzzing of everytime the door opens as it got burned out of the first purchase we had. I had to buy another one and now we plug it in only when the warehouse is in use and it have not give us problem. I am buying another one just incase if current one burn out again then I can have a replacement already.

Everyone I spoke to was helpful, friendly and willing to share information and make suggestions when asked. Phone calls were returned when I left my phone number, we ended up playing phone tag for a while, but patience paid off with good service. Product was as described and as noted by another reviewer the screws are easily damaged (be sure to drill good pilot holes). This button works well with 12 to 16VAC power from doorbell transformer. I would order again from 1800Doorbell.
