A wired door chime by Craftmade with a tea-stained glass cabinet surrounded by an oil-rubbed bronze frame.

Looks very nice. The outer frame requires installing the inner chimes box vertically. The chimes work vertically, but I suspect they were designed to be installed horizontally. The sound isn’t as nice.

want to replace my 16 volt door bell. can I use my current 16 v transformer and door bell button ? and is the light powered by the transformer ? I don't want to have to use batteries for anything. thx THOMAS WAITE asked on 08/04/2025

Is the unit lighted the entire time or just when the doorbell rings or not at all?? Eugene Theus asked on 05/03/2021

The ICH1505-BK has an adjustable LED light that stays lighted, until the chime is sounding. It will flash twice as "ding-dong" is sounded.

Hello, I just received my unit and discovered the cover does not fit over the chime unless the chime is installed in the horizontal position. Will the chime operate properly if installed horizontal instead of vertical as per the instructions? Pedro Murguia asked on 01/14/2021
