This adapter saved me from constantly having to buy 3 C cell batteries. My Dad gets a lot of visitors and the receiver is on te loudest setting with flashing strobe lights. This setting eats those batteries but the AC adapter pays for itself!

Just received 5/14/2021. I had to drill out holes a little deeper for the screws. Looks good. I will see if it lights up tonight.

I needed a loud bell because I am nearly deaf. It is loud and the green flashing light helps as well.

Worked in our 20,000 sq ft retail store. I did need one receiver in the freight room and one receiver for the sales floor. I thought I may need two on the sales floor, but one was easily sufficient. Our sales floor is one big box, with a high ceiling, and about 10 aisles of 10' shelving.

This thing is working great. The transmitter works through the concrete wall of our warehouse and blasts loud enough to hear it across the space.

Fairly easy to install. Good selection of sounds to choose from. Box with receiver did not have double sided stick tape on small piece. Only for larger sensor. Not sure why it was not packaged as additional sensor was. We will hope this works for alerting us when mom opens a door up at night. Receiver loud enough and flashing light will hopefully wake our family member who is in the home. It took one week to receive .

Loud I'm hard of hearing and won't do anything about it so this is good

I ordered a door bell and it was in my mailbox in less than a week, standard shipping. A reply to my web order was prompt and accurate. I have already ordered a second unit from this company.

Using the driveway sensor with the default distance of 25 feet, works good. I know they have a mid range setting and longer range like 100 feet but have not tried those settings. But for our purpose it seems to work good and as expected.

Door bell chime came out during shipping. I was able to reinstall so not a big deal but should be shipped with more care to prevent damage. Door bell was easy to install and worked great!

Using in a 20' wide door way detects any movement. Works Great!!

No power needed, it never needs maintenance and no lining up annoying laser beams!

Finally found a doorbell that will work for our store! The signal is great, travels through our concrete and metal floors. Love that there are so many options and at a very reasonable price! Only thing that would improve this is if the doorbell transmitter had the ability to be hardwired and not battery powered. Otherwise so happy with the product!

My Dimango wireless button housing cracked from weathering. The replacement from 1800Doorbell was identical and inexpensive, and arrived quickly. 1800Doorbell is the place to go for any doorbell needs.

I'm a little disappoint since the transmitter in the LRA-EX1000S package was not able to be paired with the receiver; but, once I called the 1800Doorbell support line, they responded promptly and diagnosed an issue with the transmitter unit and are sending me a new unit without needing to return the defective unit (hence why on 4 star rating). Looking forward to receiving the replacement unit and hope it will work.

As we age, we sometimes don’t hear people knocking when deliveries are made, partly because we don’t hear as well as we used to. Ordinary wireless doorbells were tried, but they were insufficiently loud. The 1800 bell for the hearing impaired is louder, and useful. But I think a second such bell that rings in rooms distant to its present location would be better, especially if both bells ring after any push button is activated. EGH

The push doorbell on my 2016 M S SYSTEMS intercom had failed. I found 1800doorbell.com and Visually compared the old push doorbell to the new one. It was an exact match! These Safeguard ERA doorbells work! I had purchased and returned 4 different wireless doorbell kits, none of which worked as advertised. 1000 ft range was more like 50 ft. Their 115 dB volume was less than 80 dB.

I bought this for a very senior citizen who is very hard of hearing. She is thrilled with the lights. I bought two extra chimes so they are spread around her apartment. Now she never misses the boorbell!

This gives me the ability to place the doorbell and chime where it's best for me and not where electric outlet is available including my garden shed

I added the LRA-DCRXS receiver to the existing Safeguard Doorbell Extender EX1000S. It configured quickly and operated as expected. Now two receivers are activated when the doorbell is initiated. It's load and the flashing light gets your attention - as it should.

The DI2000R-A Plug In Driveway Alarm has been working great for several months. We decided to expand the system to the garage and craft room, as we spend a fair amount of time in there as well. All we did was unbox and plug them in. Both started working with no setup. Would buy again.

The selling point for me was being able to add extra speakers to one system. I have a large store with many back rooms / coolers / office. Adding speakers in each area was important and you can increase the volume for the large store rooms and decrease the volume in the office to make it less intrusive. you do need to plug the speakers into an power outlet by the way wasn't to much of a problem, but something to think about. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR

When my old doorbell button broke I was sure I’d have to replace the inside and outside units, but I took a look online and was surprised and pleased to find the button I needed at 1800 Doorbell. It was very reasonable and I got it in a few days. Thanks 1800 Doorbell!

I had to contact 1800Doorbell three times for clarification about connecting the doorbell extender. Once I received a return call due to volume of calls--not much of a wait-the second time I had a connection with C.S. right away, and the third was a call back from an after-hours request and was called early the following day. And each time the CSR was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I received a solid technical explanation, parts or exchanges as appropriate, and a quick response to all issues. The Extender Kit is easy to install, looks and works good, The only problem is I liked the first one I got so much I wanted and ordered a second receiver, and got the latest -1 model, which worked great paired to its -1 transmitter. But the -1 cannot be paired with a non -1 model, and I also discovered the transmitters cannot be connected in parallel. Interference, I guess. Connected in parallel, one or the other (-1 or older version) will "win out" the transmission to their respective receiver. But in contact with 1800Doorbell, they resolved it with an exchange, no problem. I couldn't be happier with either them or the product.

It was easy to install. The wired doorbell had some wiring irregularities but I was easily able to get the doorbell extender working. I do question how easy it will be to replace batteries when the time comes. The extender transmitter has to be opened from the back, but the back is taped to the doorbell box. And the added on doorbell button has to be twisted off but the retainer clip is also connected to the part attached to the wall. So a 5 star review today but dropped to 4 star anticipating difficulties in a few years.

After 10 years it was time to replace the old unit. In my opinion this is a great product.

This was my third try at installing a door bell. The first lasted only two months when one of two chimes failed. The second system looked like it was the deal. I got it all set up and the chimes were receiving the transmitter and the chimes were plenty loud. That night the chimes started sounding on their own and couldn't be silenced with out removing the power. This unit is near three weeks old and is still working. I've already got my monies worth.
