I really like the bronze chimes but want a white cover. Do you think I could take the chimes off this model and switch them on the CTPW-RG model? Or just switch covers?

Does this door bell chime work with ring video door bell.
I would definitely check with the supplier of your video doorbell to be sure as we do not sell those products and are not experts. However, what we frequently run across is problems with wired doorbells used in conjunction with video doorbells. This usually happens because the wired doorbell transformer does not have enough amps or VA to supply both units. I would recommend a 30VA transformer like this one https://www.1800doorbell.com/t1630-16v-30w-transformer.htm or a "tri-volt" like this: https://www.1800doorbell.com/gbase-dh910.htm A standard 10VA transformer would work fine for this chime, but coupling it with a video doorbell requires too much VA...go with something stronger like the 30VA transformer.
