Got tired of buying the home units from HD that didn't have the range or ate batteries like crazy and then just stopped working. We have a small manufacturing plant and in today,s world we have to keep the front door locked. So I needed something for the front door and our back receiving door about 100' away. Set it up with 2 different rings so I know what door to go too. And since this takes an AC adapter...No more batteries!

Had to replace my old Carlon push button and whatever was being sold in Lowes or Home Depot wouldn't work with the Carlon. A suggestion I offer is, don't open these push buttons beyond removing the back. I had my older one for 5 years or more and replaced the two batteries the first time without issue by removing them with a tiny flathead screwdriver. This time I had difficulty removing the bottom battery and wound up opening the entire upper case. Big mistake, as the insides are very delicate and break easily. I couldn't get the case to close with the new batteries and had to order this one. It works fine with my old chime box and was an inexpensive solution to my problem.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this wireless doorbell system for our warehouse. It was easy to install and configure. It worked well thru concrete and steel over long distance (hundreds of feet). I was glad to find this to replace another brand which didn’t always work.

I am using this second receiver in my back room. It is on the other side of a back wall and a walk-in cooler which is about 75ft away. Works perfectly. I also like it because I can hard wire a buzzer for the inside of the cooler.

We set this up in our shop to announce visitor's through the front door. This thing is awesome. We can hear it over equipment running and when we need to silence it we just turn a dial. Very compact design with backed by what appears to be a solid product.

I ordered 2 more of the Carlon wireless door chimes to extend the sound range of the door chime. They worked perfectly. I had to contact the company to insure they would work and they responded by email quickly and very nice. The doorbell remote extensions were the perfect part for a large home where you could not here the doorbell.

I’ve ordered several pineapple doorbells through the years, and this is by far the best. I highly recommend 1-800-Doorbell for all your doorbell needs.

We needed a solution for an audible and visual signal to alert us to which warehouse door location a delivery was being made at. We receive deliveries at (4) different dock locations dependent on type of material being delivery. We were able to use a different sound and color strobe for each of (4) zones. We no longer have irritated delivery drivers, missed deliveries and our warehouse employees know exactly which door(part of the building) to go to based on sound and the color of strobe light which we programmed to light up for 2 minutes.

The ordering process and performance of the transmitter and the wireless chime receiver was extremely satisfactory! I will be ordering more in the near future.

Difficult to find. Seems all push buttons are now lighted . Lighted button does not work with my older digital chime , that Plays music when pushed . Requires a diode, ( you supply diode)This did the trick. Working fine

I was looking for a doorbell that would be a little different, but that would nonetheless be suitable for a somewhat rustic home. This is perfect. And well-made, too--nice, heavy, hardened metal. My only complaint: why are the provided screws flat head rather than Phillips? Since they're brass (which is appropriate) they're somewhat soft, and Phillips would be much better to work with. (Interestingly, I see the photo in the product ad shows Phillips head screws.)

This doorbell works as expected and looks Great! I am soo happy as over the past 12 months, I have been dealing with a doorbell I purchased at Home Depot, A Hampton Bay product. The Home Depot Hampton bay product is a piece of garbage and it costs over 2X more than the one I purchased at 800 doorbell.com. That Hampton Bay product really is bad, I am surprised they still sell them.

Fantastic product!!! (ERA-UTDCR) I purchased this unit to use as a medical alert device for my elderly father. Previous purchases of other so-called devices did not meet their advertised requirements. They did not work in an adobe/cinderblock home. THIS UNIT WORKS VERY WELL IN AN ADOBE STRUCTURE as well as reaches the 4,000 ft range as advertised. It is well worth the money and I have peace of mind at night.

We purchased this system for an unconventional safety need in our warehouse. The technical set-up was very easy and it worked immediately. The only issue we had was that one of the receivers was a little glitchy at first, but then we changed the batteries and it seemed to settle down. For now, we are very happy with this purchase.

My wife and I were very pleased on how good looking the doorbell is! It is very modern looking and the description of the color and design was spot on. Quality is very good. Way better than anything you'd find at lowes or home depot, this is something you would find at a higher end store. Installation was simple. Only problem, and I am talking with Craftmade on a solution, if you have a ring doorbell or two (front/rear/side door bell) and you hook the battery packs up to this new doorbell, the LED lights will not work. I'm thinking its a resistance thing. If you don't hook up the battery packs the ring won't work, but, the LED's work and the doorbell is beautiful! Hopefully I find a solution for the Ring Door Bell batter packs and the LED'S!

I'm a business owner; I am also hard of hearing even with hearing aids. The Portable DB Receiver has improved my quality of life. I clip the Portable DB Receiver to my jeans pocket or pop it into a jacket pocket and settle into my day usually at the computer for a couple hours. We use the Motion Sensor transmitter and now I know whenever anyone (husband, employees and deliveries) comes up the back steps. I am no longer startled when someone walk up behind me because I know they're coming in.

Customer service was easy to get in touch with, quality of the phone lines were excellent so it was easy to hear their instructions. They walked us through the instructions with patience and made the experience great. We're using the unit because we are hard of hearing & it's nice to know when someone is has walked in the back door. I'm no longer being startled by someone coming in behind me and my desk. Having the selection of notifications and volume is especially nice.

This worked out great for us. Of course if we wanted to spend much more we could have put a radio system in place of the doorbell but this system has served its purpose. We have a fairly big warehouse, nearly 4k sqft and these will hit almost every corner of it. They could be a little louder but as long you have them placed properly on your body you should have no problem with them.

Couldn't hear my chime that was mounted upstairs. Purchased an extender from home depot that was very unreliable which I suspect was due to inability to transmit or receive due to range even though I was within the rate 150'. Purchased twice, eventually quit working twice. This extender hasn't missed a beat and I'm happy with everything about it.

We received our driveway alarm well packaged and it was shipped the day after ordering it. It arrived quickly and in very good shape. We installed it the next day and it works perfectly. The instructions were easy to understand and the alarm was easy to install. The alarm can be heard even in the rooms farthest away from it. We live in the country and our watch dog passed away 10 months ago. Since then we never knew when someone was coming up our long driveway until they appeared at our doorstep. Now that we have our driveway alarm no one gets by it without letting us know someone is coming! We absolutely LOVE it!

Yes. I have enjoyed the usage of this device for many years. This is my second one that I have purchased. The first one I purchased approx. 9 years ago. I bought this exact Carion Wireless Battery Operated Door Chime RC4300 25 years ago and even though I can't change the default 1 ding chime (I think it's my fault trying to change the batteries) that were in there for 25 years! I decided to buy the exact door chime once again! I love it! It's exactly the same product 25 years later and perfect in workmanship! I also ordered it within 2 days it was at my front door! How did you do that??? Not even Amazon can make this miracle happen like 1800 doorbell company chime did it! I am totally amazed and in awe! I have purchased two systems from 1800doorbell and they both do exactly what we needed them to do. One of them alerts us to an elderly family members movement into unsafe areas at night. The other notifies personnel working in a loud environment when someone either enters through the entrance door or the door is locked and someone pushes the button to notify workers that someone is at the door. The only gripe is that none of it is made in the USA especially considering the price.

Very pretty and substantial doorbell. It works by sensing your touch, not a mechanical push button. A little quirky, but got it to work. Bright LED lights flash off when senses your touch, so at least you know that the bell rang.

After searching the web for an uncommon doorbell I finally found one at 1800Doorbell. The order process was fast and easy. I tracked my shipment and watched it go from facility to distribution center and so on. Then my package seemed to disappeared. Gone. Tracking never updated. I waited and waited. Nothing. I called 1800Doorbell and told them what happend. The representative on the phone said "that's not good". She said "I'll ship you another one right now." Nice. I got the second shipment in only a few days. I installed it at the customer's house. "Ding Ding" Yey! A doorbell never sounded so good. Thank you!
