This is a great setup that we found. You can connect more than just buttons. with door sensors and motion detectors it is an all in one system. I have not tried it out at 1000 ' but it does have a long range. The relay is also a nice option.

We broke the wire on the speaker and had to order a replacement speaker.

Alarm Transmitter and Receivers arrived in good condition. Set-up instructions could use some work to make them clearer to use but will get the job done after a while.

i always use doorbells that every one have. i wanted to try something different. when i found these. i bought it and give it a try. it matches my black gate. looks nice in the dark. easy to installed. i had to cut off the ears in order to fit. i'm happy.

The Entry Detector works great. We needed a entry detector to help keep our cats and dog out of one room. This entry detector work perfectly for us. We tried a cheaper brand from Amazon. I ignored some of the negative review and the warnings in their review. That device worked OK, not great, sometimes didn't pick up the cats. It died after 60 days. This Entry Alarm is much simpler and easier to install. The cable is a way to long for our use, but would like it too long than not long enough.

I like how the cover screws on. I believe I can purchase different color covers. It was easy to install. It has long wires to connect to the inline wires. My last stone light was yellow, which is great for night. I chose the red strobe light this time for it to be easier to see during the day.

The chimes (3 total) are solid additions to supplement the single wired chime for a three-story house. Installation hookup to the existing chime was easy. It did take some effort to go through the syncing process and to select the tune but the results were rewarding. The Doorbell Extender Kit with Flashing Strobe Plug-in Receiver only has a native volume that is just ok. However, the LRA-EX1000 Long Range Doorbell has a volume control that can adjust to a loud chime and I would recommend it if you only buy one chime plus the transmitter.

We recently had our deck replaced and have had 1 of these for 3 years on our old deck which have worked perfectly for that time. We got 3 summer to fall seasons in the North East out of the batteries YMMV, So when we had out deck replaced with surround step downs we knew these would be perfect to light upb the stairs and ordered 4 more. Had them up for a week now and are completely happy with the look and the performance..

Better photos of the product would be helpful. The crown molding didn’t match mine.

I like the way the doorbell looks. The only problem I had with it was that the button part wanted to pop out the front of the rosette. Possibly something was missing that keeps it from doing that? Once I had it installed the button is staying put.

This doorbell arrived in a timely fashion. It is good looking and appears to be solidly built. It friction fit perfectly into the 5/8 inch diameter hole that was in my siding. Four stars is the highest rating I will give to a item unless it exceeds my expectations. This doorbell replacement did everything that I thought it should so I gave it 4 stars. It seems to be a good product at a fair price. If your looking for a simple, push button, wired doorbell, this one will do you well.

I could not locate this unit at my local store. 1800Doorbell was able to ship it to me within the week at a great price.

Our Hobby Shop is detached from the house, where our main receiver is located. We work out there fairly often, so we needed another receiver in the Shop to let us know whenever visitors enter our driveway. We recently purchased another receiver from 1-800-doorbell, and it, too, works perfectly, just like the main unit, even though it's about 100 feet farther away from the transmitter. This is a great USA-made system.

I purchased a doorbell system to be used in a nontraditional manner. I wanted a reliable, high quality communication system to be used in my elderly parent’s, large home so my parents could alert me if they needed help. I found the website and phone call support to be extremely helpful in choosing a versatile system that we could adapt to my parent’s home. I even attached magnets to the back side of the doorbells so my parents can wear their door bells on their clothing. I also have two doorbells placed in the bathrooms of the house for extra assurance so they can call me, if they need help. I have peace of mind knowing that if I am on the second floor of their house and my mother is in the basement doing laundry, she can push her doorbell and I will hear it. I can then go to her location and ascertain that she is safe and then assist her. My mom loves wearing her doorbell attached to her camisole. I think she feels safer with it. My dad loves to sit outside and watch the birds. I know he can alert me if he needs assistance outside. Thank you for providing peace of mind to my family.

This doorbell is definitely not what we'd expected. We both were pleased with the doorbell once we opened the package. It has weight to it... not at all like a plastic or acrylic piece, but actually metal. We ordered the classic bronzed option. It was easy to install. The center protrudes from the back about 1/4" and we didn't have a hole in the exterior wall that size so my husband made a base and drilled a hole to put behind the button so it would fit flush. It actually matched the same style of wood that our porch light was mounted on. Once my husband finished installing (he did NOT turn off the power due to low voltage) the light around the button illuminated and looked INCREDIBLY CLASSY!!! WOW!! Never thought I'd say a doorbell puts the finishing touch to our front porch decor, but it is a purchase we are VERY satisfied with.

My Dakota long-range driveway monitor was relatively easy to set up. The motion sensor actually has the option for longer range than advertised which allows me to monitor a doorway on a storage facility along with the driveway. I've only been using Dakota system for 10 days and it detected all of the traffic and no false signals. My only regret is that I didn't have one sooner.

This little plug in doorbell is plenty loud. Most of the 52 “rings” are music that wouldn’t work for anyone who is hard of hearing, but if you need it, there’s even a ring that sounds like a large dog barking. The one thing that would make it better for us is if it had a battery back-up.

It took about 3 weeks to be delivered but I don’t think that is your fault. Covid-19 has slowed deliveries and I live in Canada. But when I called you, I got a quick response. I also got good service when I first enquired about your product. It has now arrived and I have tried it. It works great!. I’m using it on an outdoor gate for truckers to ring when they have deliveries. The switch is at it’s maximum distance of about 400’. When I walked it a little further away, it stopped working. But in fairness, it does need to go through concrete walls, a drywall partition and a steel tank area. It’s installed in a cluttered noisy environment but the sound carries well. The strobe could be a little brighter but it’s ok. I’d like to experiment with adding more switches, zones and alarms. I’m sure there will be more applications that come up where I can use this product.

This system was in stalled in one of fire stations, it was very easy to install and it works great on a large building like our station. I would recommend this to everyone.

I was unsure what I was going to get for such a low price but it turned out to be better quality than the home improvement stores.

I chose this doorbell to go in my Florida coastal-style home. I liked that it was wood and could be painted or stained to go with my decor - much better than the cheap-looking plastic ones I could have gotten at a big-box store. While it is a little bigger than I would have liked, it will blend well when painted. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately, the doorbell button we ordered didn’t work for us. When we contacted the company about the problem, the service they provided was outstanding. I would recommend doing business with 1800Doorbell.

The screws in my doorbell were so tight I stripped one taking it out. I called to ask about a replacement and the representative was gracious and thoughtful. I received notice within hours that my new doorbell was in the mail.

This bell system is super! We are using it in several different areas where obstacles such as multiple walls or different levels are in play. The bell works beautifully and has a nice strong signal.

Easy to set up. We actually ended up just using velcro to attach the transmitter above the door, it was faster for us at the moment. We just left the default sound on one door and it works just fine. We’ll Miley be ordering more transmitters for more doors.

Good LED replacement buttons have been hard to find and incandescent buttons just don't last that long. I bought this to replace an early LED replacement that I had bought at Loews about 5 years ago..not only had the light become dim but it developed a unappealing purplish hue. The new button is well made, and has an attractive amber light that glows from the periphery of the button through a translucent lens. Overall a big improvement.

Very satisfied with the doorbell. I can hear the alarm from 500’ away and the strobe can be seen from 700’ away. I’ll be purchasing more of these in the future.

I installed 2 modules with one door switch to activate on opening of door: one ding dongs with visual blue flashing light and the other is 100 feet away in warehouse with a flashing red siren. Works perfect and was ridiculously easy to setup.

Although designed as a business bell, we have found it to be very useful for our small charter school, especially for deliveries. The ability to choose the volume and tone were key components we appreciated. The device was very well-packaged and delivery was prompt.

We originally started to look on Amazon, found mixed reviews on multiple doorbells. Pricing was just slightly higher with 1800doorbell but we could be happier with the seamless use, integration of a second chime and knowing customer service is just a dial away unlike other e-stores! Overall the product is awesome and we achieved what we set out to do with it. Only gripe is I guess my fault, I thought you could trigger multiple zones on 1 receiver with 1 button but as far as I could tell each button can only trigger 1 zone luckily the strobe has a very small draw and we wired the strobe and siren to 1 zone with no issue.

The person I talked to and took my order was very nice and helpful. I will definitely call them again!

The doorbell extender works great. It has many choices of tones, volume control, and an optional light signal. Installation wasn’t too bad, but would have been easier to understand if all the instructions were on one document rather than 3 or 4.

I recently installed soundproofing to my Voiceover studio, and it is now so quiet that I could not hear the doorbell. Neither could the dog. I have relied on him to hear the chime in the past. I bought a doorbell extender with a remote strobe. I have the strobe plugged into a power strip in the studio and it flashes brilliantly when the doorbell rang. No chime to mess up a recording, or the dog barking. This strobe has been a wonderful addition. The installation and testing took about a half an hour. I had to video record the strobe because I couldn’t get from the front door into the studio to see the strobe. I have a video record of the strobe flashing. Thank you, 1800! Doorbell. We needed a way to lock our gym doors during programs but to alert us when other students showed up late or parents were arriving for pick up. These worked perfect! Once the doorbell is pressed, the receivers ring in the gym (along with a flashing light) signaling us to go to the door to greet, do a temperature scan, then return to gym floor.
