I've had a driveway alarm for many years. It's always served as kind of a security system the way my house is built you cannot see who's at the door until you open the door. So with the driveway alarm I have a chance to look out to see who it is before I answer the door. I had had a different kind of driveway alarm that ran off of vibration got lots of false signals. I really like this one so far because when it goes off someone is definitely in the driveway so easy to put together and get into service. Was shipped quickly happy so far

I placed an order for a Motion Activated Business Ready Entrance Alert Kit with Extended Long Range Wireless on a Tuesday night and followed up with a phone call to 1800DoorBell on Wednesday morning. I called to verify that I had properly ordered everything that I would need to install this system. The person I spoke to asked all the right questions and pointed out that one of the items I ordered was unnecessary but that I would need another item to have the system perform as I wanted. She was able to change the order for me immediately and still get it out the door and in my hands Friday. I purchased the system for my mother-in-law, who lives alone, and had intruders enter her shed. She was very upset and wanted to prevent this from happening again. I wanted the alarm so that intruders would find her shed very unwelcome due to the loud alarm and flashing lights. I found the alarm very easy to install. It worked exactly as expected, no muss, no fuss. My mother-in-law is happy which means my wife is happy, which means that I am happy. I found this doorbell to replace another one I had for many years. It was the exact style. It is very easy to set up. This Chime is very nice. I was surprised the style was exactly the same. I was very pleased with the quality.

One bell/strobe combination replaced a ridiculously loud buzzer that made people jump. Some obnoxious drivers would keep it blaring until somebody answered the door. The other set replaced a pitifully inadequate wireless system that you might use at home. I gave ERA-UTX rating of 4 because one of the transmitters only lasted about a week. The service response was immediate and appreciated. If you have block walls I suggest mounting the bell/strobe set on a back plane then mount the back plane to the wall. I used half inch plastic which is abundant here. It involves a lot less ladder time and the mounting hole clearances are too tight to mount to a wall using wall molies due to drill drift.

The 4K system (drive probe, receiver and horn/strobe) was a perfect wireless solution for a loud shop environment with a 1100' tree-lined drive. I had a technical question and 1800Doorbell was able to connect me with the manufacturer....issue solved! Very helpful.

This wireless door chime and strobe kit is great for our warehouse and the quick reaction time to receive deliveries. This is also a plus by keeping security in the facility by having the mandoors locked so that delivery people are not randomly coming into a restricted area for safety reasons.

Very pleased with the appearance and quality of this product. My only problem is the measurements were from the outside of the round columns which left exposed rough drywall behind the unit. I am having a custom backplate made which was an unexpected expense.

Love my new chimer, but as it turned out, it was my transformer, not my chime. But, my wife likes the new chimer cover!!! 😁

My concern was that the doorbell would not be loud enough. But it is plenty loud. It was for my mother who is hard of hearing. But you can hear this throughout the house easily. And, there were about 20-30 options on ring tone. Also, we pair up two ringers and two receivers. So one rang from the back door and one the front. And we gave a different ring tone for each so she would know which door was ringing. She placed one receiver in the kitchen and other in the living room and they work great. They both ring when either ringer is pushed and they both give the ringtone we programmed. Good product. Very satisfied.

Elegant looking finish. Light around button has nice glow. Only thing I found odd is button does not snap into plate. It simply fricton fits so if you wanted to you could pull it out from the front. Maybe the idea is easy access to terminals with plate installed.
