We got their doorbell system, and the push-button unit for some reason didn't work, so I called, explaining my dilemma. The representative knew her stuff. Because we had purchased it only 4 months prior, they replaced this for free, and the new unit works great. We also love the selection of chimes available. It took awhile, but now we're totally satisfied. (One piece of advice if you're setting up the doorbell system: The instructions don't say this, but apparently you need to run the indoor unit on household AC power OR 3 "C" batteries. Where we live we have frequent power outages, and I couldn't get the indoor unit to work when BOTH plugged in AND loaded with batteries. Pick one OR the other, and it works fine.

I've used my LRA-DSTX Driveway Sensors for over 10 years. I just bought 2 replacement sensors and for the past 10 years have had no problems at all other than a tree fell on one and needed replaced so I bought 2 to have an extra for back yard security.

Naturally I searched amazon before finding this site and I'm glad I did. We needed something to notify us in the shop when someone walked into the office. We didn't want a doorbell necessarily but something we could put on the door that would recognize when it was opened. Paired with the noise from the shop, it had to be somewhat loud. We decided to go with the firebell and it's perfect! Not obnoxiously loud but enough to be heard over music, air compressor, impact etc. Very happy with the price and function of this alert system!!

Finally gound a wireless doorbell that could handle the range between my front and back door. Chime has the ability to differentiate between doorbells and has a light that flashes when rung. My husband is hard of hearing, so if he can't hear the bell, he can see it ringing.

We've had infrared alarms for over a decade, and these are the best yet. We learned to listen for the timing between sensors in order to verify a vehicle is coming , and where it is on our driveway. Now, with different sounds from each sensor being programmable, we know exactly where it is, and if it is just a deer or fox.

Bought 3 sensors, furthest is 1000 feet out, with some trees in the way. All seem to be going off repeatedly and reliably. Very satisfied, and reasonably priced too

This is SUCH an improvement over the old doorbell it replaces! The classic style is streamlined and would look good with almost any architecture. Because it’s metal, it has a substantial feel. The button is illuminated. My husband said installation was straightforward, other than swapping the screws out for shorter screws to fit better.

We have almost a quarter of a mile long driveway. We have used motion sensor alerts for the past few years. They have proved to be very unreliable. Bugs, birds, leaves, wind, etc., would cause the sensor to send an alert to the receiver. OR, we wouldn't get an alert if someone was coming up the driveway. We were concerned about this hose on the gravel driveway, but so far it seems to be doing ok. We have only had if for a week, but have had enough traffic to tell this is going to be so much better than the motion alerts we had....It's very "old school", but works so much better for us. We bought a second receiver for the shop, so we can be alerted when we are out there. We are already feeling more secure knowing the only time the alarm goes off is when a vehicle has just crossed it.. Thanks for this wonderful system and making it very affordable as well!!!

The doorbell shipped right away, and hooked easily into our preexisting wiring! The white cover is a nice upgrade to the old bell we had hanging on the wall.

I purchased an additional desk receiver, one for my home and one for the tax office. The one transmitter works for both receivers and the receiver was placed on a fence post and works great! Would definitely recommend.

Was surprised at just how good it functions. Even picked up on a raven landing in front of it. Yes, that's rare and unusual, but it happened just the same. Love it!

It was a perfect fit for my customer. She could hear it very well. We also discovered that the front/rear leads had been connected wrong, which I reversed, and now with the extra note she can hear it even better. The unit was an exact replacement to the original with the exception of the decibels.

I’m absolutely positive that this will be exactly what we need as soon as the ice and snow clears a bit so the outdoor sensor can be placed right now it’s not possible to get to it’s destination. I am thinking of purchasing a second doorbell for another door. This will be our second outdoor sensor and alarm the previous one still works but the sensor eye got scratched apparently by trying to wipe it off awhile back this sensor was not one of yours and ordered 28 years ago.

This little door alert is perfect for our bagel shop. Easy to install and the alert is loud enough to hear when our mixer is in use. Excellent!! Would definitely buy again.

I work nights. Setup was quick by connecting transmitter to transformer and plugging in 2 receivers. I set the receivers to show light flashes only. I removed doorbell box ding dong bars so when doorbell button is pushed only get flashes in 2 rooms. I can now sleep without doorbell sounds and dogs barking. If I want sound I can easily turn on sound switch on one or both receivers. Thanks 1800!

My house is set up where it's difficult for me to hear a call for assistance from a distant room. The ERA system has a brilliant strobe light and numerous options of chime signals from piercing to melodic, with several volume gradations. Simple setup and trouble-free operation, and plenty of range for our building.

Looks great, sounds great! The black cover is plastic! But looks great mounted. We are very happy with this doorbell. It works with the Ring Pro 2!

Excellent product, perfect replacement for an old doorbell button for which the plastic push button piece cracked and fell off. First tried buying a substitute from a big box store but they only carried LED lighted, and it turned out to be overly and distractingly bright, even in peak sunlight. This product is like the old original it replaced--metal materials and feels solid. The best part is that it is unlit which is what I needed. 1800doorbell website carries both lighted and unlighted variants, covering all one might need. Very satisfied with this product!

I’ve been using these driveway alerts for probably 10 years now. The range is excellent and they never fail to pickup a vehicle or person coming up the driveway. I bought a new receiver because I needed an additional one in a room we added to the house. I also went ahead and replaced the two I’d had for several years although they were still working fine. ( I’ll put them somewhere else other than the driveway). In fact I’ve never had one fail. The range is excellent and the battery life is really good as well. I’d had 2-3 different brands before I found these but they weren’t even close in reliability and range. I’ll never use anything else. I hope they never quit making them!!

Don’t recall encountering service at this level in decades, if ever …..and I’m 77.9 years old. Reached out to customer service to inquire about availability of parts for a partially functional old doorbell system and encountered the most patient, gracious, knowledgeable and attentive representative that be imagined. After several unrushed minutes it was determined that finding the needed parts for a obsolete system from a previously good, but now failed defunct company, wasn’t a reasonable choice the customer service representative went above and beyond. By that time it was pretty clear what type of system was at our residence. She graciously and briefly described some currently available replacement choices and emailed written summaries and electronic catalog links to the choices that were mentioned. The several minute phone call followed by a spot on email saved me many minutes of further research. New system was easy to install, and better than the good old system. 15 star service (out of a possible 5)

We needed a battery powered wired chime for an installation without transformer. I was able to find all needed information on the website and received the package quickly. The world would be a better place if all online sellers functioned like 1800Doorbell.

I've had these for years and have been happy with their function and performance over an extended driveway range. I am currently using three for different locations and each assigned a different alarm tone to know sensor location.

I was able to install according to the instructions with ease. Pairing the receiver to the ring unit was easy as well. We are using this with a 1957 vintage wired doorbell to a new outdoor living area on the back of the house to be able to hear the doorbell while outside on the porch.

Our door bell is off to the side of the door, so no one ever uses it. This is perfect - big enough to be easily seen and back-lit for even more visibility. I have hopes that it will get plenty of use now!
