ERA-PIR
Introducing the ERA-PIR, the latest addition to the ERA product line! With its advanced motion sensor technology and wireless signal transmission, you can now enjoy peace of mind and security like never before. The easy-to-mount bracket and PIR coverage make monitoring your desired area a breeze. The ERA-PIR seamlessly integrates with the [ERA-DCRX](https://www.1800doorbell.com/era-dcrx-4000-ft-range-wireless-chime-receiver.htm) and [ERA-RXPG](https://www.1800doorbell.com/era-rxpg-4000-ft-range-plugin-door-chime-receiver.htm), allowing you to select the perfect melody for your notification. Note that you must have a compatible chime receiver to use with this motion sensor. It does not ring at the sensor.

ERA-UTX
This universal transmitter is compatible with the Safeguard Supply “ERA” line of products. Use as a door/window contact or a wireless push button. When triggered, it will transmit a wireless signal up to 4,000 ft. to an ERA receiver – the ERA-DCRX, ERA-RXPG or the ERA-VPRX. The transmitter is powered by a 3-volt lithium-ion battery (included with the purchase). To purchase the complete kit, please see the **ERA-UTDCR Warehouse & Business Wireless Doorbell Kit Designed for Business Use** and the **WDK-ERA-STROBE Warehouse Wireless Doorbell Kit / Entry Alert & Strobe Light For Large, Loud Areas**.

ERA-DCRX
Enhance your ERA doorbell or entry alert system with an extra chime receiver. Hear the chime notification in other areas of your home or business. With an 85-90 decibel rating, this chime is one of the loudest alerts available. It is compatible with all ERA products, except the ERA-PIR-SPK, which is a standalone chime.

ERA-VPRX
The ERA-VPRX is a rechargeable, PORTABLE receiver that vibrates & plays a melody when triggered by a compatible ERA transmitter/sensor. This receiver allows users to roam up to 4,000 ft. from an ERA transmitter such as the ERA-UTX push button, a driveway sensor such as the ERA-DSTX, or a motion sensor like the ERA-PIR. Great for warehouse workers, managers, or anyone who wants a ***portable business doorbell receiver*** and cannot be tied down to their desk. The receiver has a standby battery life of 6-7 days, can be recharged with the included charger and has a decibel rating of 75-80.

Buying notes
Is this the right fit?
- Good fit when
- Use this when you need an additional compatible sensor at a door, gate, counter, driveway, or other alert point.
- Look at another option when
- Choose a kit instead if you do not already have a compatible receiver. This transmitter sends the signal; it does not make the chime sound by itself.
- Range reality
- 4000 ft is the published open-air distance from this transmitter to a compatible receiver. Walls, metal, masonry, vehicles, shelving, and dense trees can reduce that distance.
- Setup note
- Mount the sensor where it can detect the event and where its signal can reach the receiver. Pair it to the receiver, then set the tone or zone on the receiver side.
Long Range Wireless Driveway Monitor Sensor with a 4,000 Ft. Range
The ERA-DSTX is the Outdoor Rated PIR sensor featured in the ERA-DSDCR Driveway Alarm Kit by Safeguard Supply. The range sets this driveway alarm sensor apart from other products you may see online. With a wireless range of up to 4,000 ft., this product works for large homes and business environments with concrete, steel, etc. Lesser versions of driveway monitoring kits don't have the range or power to send a signal over that distance or through environmental obstacles, making this sensor kit a best on the market.
Driveway Monitor for Residential Use:
This product, along with a compatible receiver such as the ERA-DCRX desktop receiver or the ERA-VPRX portable receiver, is a great, low-cost way to add extra security to your home. When a visitor (or person) drives or passes through the monitored zone, it will immediately send a wireless signal up to 4,000 ft. away to the compatible receiver.
Driveway Monitor for Warehouse & Business Use:
Many businesses will use driveway sensors near a loading dock door or entryway to provide early-warning notifications when a delivery or visitor approaches. In our warehouse, for example, we have an ERA-DSTX mounted on a tree and angled so that we receive notifications whenever anyone approaches the front of our building. Our warehouse manager uses the ERA-VPPX attached to his belt to work in the back of the warehouse and be notified when a delivery is approaching. We have other receivers plugged in throughout the office area.

Good so far.
Excellent product and superior customer service. Sales team communicated clearly with multiple emails. Nice personal touch : )
Was surprised at just how good it functions. Even picked up on a raven landing in front of it. Yes, that's rare and unusual, but it happened just the same. Love it!
Easy setup and configuration field deployment becomes quick and effective
I've had these for years and have been happy with their function and performance over an extended driveway range. I am currently using three for different locations and each assigned a different alarm tone to know sensor location.
Ordered a driveway sensor and receiver over a year ago/ Outside in every temp from -4F to 99F. No issues Law enforcement family....best , just ordered a second motion detector to use with current one!
Have used these systems for different customers. Very happy with the alert systems
I have 3 sets of these motion detectors, including base station, positioned all over my property. Very few false alarms. Always warns me when someone climbs my fence, a car is coming up my driveway or anything moving where I want to know something is moving.
Great to put in our driveway at our business to know when someone pulls in for sure.
I have an 8 car length driveway protected by an electric gate leading to my garage and house. For years I have had to ask people (friends and daily clients) to text or call me when they are close so I could come out and let them in. WIFi doorbells wouldn't go through the garage firewall and I wasn't savvy enough to figure it out another way. I didn't want to hire an electrician to hardwire because I really didn't know what was best for my setup. I would look online, get frustrated, and walk away. The other day I tried again and was immediately connected to 1800doorbell. The first item had 333 reviews. "The signal goes through concrete, metal, and wood, travels long distance, etc." "Hmmmmm", what is this I said. The ERA series, made for warehouse but also used on farms and property where distance is an issue and gates are a long way off from the house, building, warehouse, etc. I called the company and explained my setup. Helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly. This is unusual I thought. Oh yea, Georgia, not California where I Iive. I now have a doorbell on my outside gate that rings two receivers in my house. I have a driveway motion sensor that rings a different melody to alert me to a car pulling in. And,,,,,, I have a portable receiver I can carry in my pocket in case I am outside. It alerts me to the driveway sensor and the doorbell. It has been foolproof. I can't be anymore pleased. Thank you!
I had recently installed driveway sensors on our front and rear driveways. At 12:18 AM the rear driveway sensor alerted us to an ATV, without lights on, coasting towards our machine shop and parked vehicles. We turned lights on and the ATV fled at high speed. We were advised the next morning that a residence two miles away was burglarized by someone riding an ATV during this same period.
So glad we bought this driveway alarm. I now have peace of mind knowing we can monitor what is going on our property.
Q&A
Questions & Answers
Answers from our team for ERA-DSTX Driveway Sensor for ERA Series Alarm Kits.
Does the driveway alert reset itself? My driveway is on a side of my house associated with the garage and is not visible from inside. So, I have no idea when someone arrives. I had an alert many years ago and it had to be manually reset. The result was it was only good at night when there was little to no chance of significant movement.
Good morning. The ERA-DSTX will alert the receiver anytime the PIR sensor is activated by heat and motion, it does not need to be manually reset. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell
Answered for PW
Do you need 2 sensors with the ERA-DSTX driveway sensor?.
Good morning. The ERA-DSTX is compatible with multiple receivers and/or transmitters but all you would need is the ERA-DSDCR which is the kit with one transmitter and one receiver. You can add on additional sensor/transmitters and/or receivers to that kit if needed and all items in the ERA family are compatible. Thank you, Customer Support Team 1800Doorbell
