Easy to set up, easy to add extra receivers (so one transmitter could go on the door, but receivers could be heard in different parts of the building), easy-ish to change the tone/chime that plays when the door opens. That said, of the gabillion tones, most are so obnoxious I'd be embarrassed to have them play when a customer enters our shop; only 4-5 felt professionally palatable. Note that even at the loudest setting, many of the palatable tones aren't going to be heard if your environment is noisy. ALSO (and this may be the most frustrating part) the receiver plug is in the middle of a large plastic piece. That means that when I tried plugging it into a 4-plug outlet, it effectively blocked all four of the outlets. Also an issue with a two-plug outlet--if you have a grounded cord going into the second plug in your wall, you can't plug this thing in. Kinda annoying to have to sacrifice an entire outlet just to plug this singular device in. Beyond that, it works as expected, and 1800doorbell.com processed/shipped timely.

These products, including the wireless button transmitter at the customer service window, receiver control box in the office, 6" outdoor bell, and the wireless pocket receiver performed much better than we expected. This location is a law enforcement impounded vehicle storage facility that extends a city block deep. The outdoor bell is good for notification, but the main thing we like is the long range wireless remote receiver when driving loud machinery; it has a vibrate alert as well as a variety of audible alerts with volume control to choose from. Doorbell was exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to install. If you’re installing in Hardie board siding make sure you drill pilot holes for the screws.

This system works nicely and is very easy to setup and install. I purchased two with strobe lights for application in an industrial environment where noise is a factor. The bell itself is very loud for most circumstances but the strobe light will definitely get the attention of anyone in the area. The range of the wireless push button is also very impressive.

This is just what we needed to help us be alerted when people walk in our business. Easy to set up and works great.

Door bell had a "stamping or casting" flaw, possibly a drill hole in the wrong place. Hoping to have it replaced quickly with a good one.

We bought a new home, set back from the road. We wanted a way to know when cars pulled in. The line across tge driveway makes a nice doorbell sound, at just the right volume. So far, after only a few days of use, we love it!

1st one did not work, called company, they sent out new one with no problem. Very easy to work with

The button works fine, but I am not sure how it will hold up over time. It fits on the brickmould where my old/previous button was. Button replacement was relatively easy since the distance between the mounting screws matches the old button. I am disappointed the incandescent lamp is not readily replaceable because it is soldered to the terminal board. The lamp in my old/previous button was replaceable. When the lamp eventually burns out I will likely replace the button with an LED model (Craftmade BS6). The old/previous button was replaced because the brass contacts had become oxidized and would not reliably ring the doorbell every time the button was pushed. Unfortunately the contacts in the new button (bare copper strips) are similar in design and will likely oxidize over time.

Now with your products I have an extra loud sound if my choosing and even though it had lots of pages of instructions for hooking up I was able to do it myself!! Now a rooster crows when somebody rings my doorbell . And i have other choices for sounds . Can’t confuse it with anything else. I've purchased several wireless door bells that supposedly work well and long distance they were all garbage. but when I got this one I put threw the test I set it up and literally walked 2 blocks away from my house and had my wife on the phone and pressed the push button bell this thing worked like a charm. I've had for a week now and each time is has worked great unlike the others bells that I bought only rang or worked randomly. I would definitely recommend this doorbell to family and friends

Didn’t like our bulky doorbell placement and switching out with an almost identical unit except for the fit and mounting was much better than trying to move the original one. Bought this Dakota alarm to replace a 20+ year old Dakota alarm. Really like the choice of sounds and the long range of the detector. Do wish it had a simple on/off switch on the receiver. Definitely recommend Dakota alarms.

I installed this driveway alarm a few days ago and I must say that the installation went much easier than I had planned. The pairing of the transmitter to receiver was simple and seamless. High quality product, no more false alarms from animals, etc. I feel this is the best driveway alarm I have ever used and the range between transmitter and receiver is amazing.

This is my third MURS driveway alarm that I purchased for various areas at home. Two of them are 12 years old and still working great. I just purchased a third and works great like the other two. My area has a lot of deer that will set it off at night. The solution is to use two MURS on driveway (one at lower part and one at upper part of driveway about 75 feet apart). If one alarm goes off, it is deer in our driveway. If both alarms go off in sequence, it is always a car or person coming up driveway (it is very unlikely to be a deer as they don’t walk the entire stretch of driveway).

The doorbell wireless push button and portable bell working great. The only setback the door sensor has to be within half inch of the button which makes it. non functional if the door is recessed from the jamb. Otherwise overall prity handy product

I bought your company's LRA-EX1000 doorbell extender kit a few years ago and liked everything about it except having to replace the 3 "C" batteries (which gets expensive). I was about to buy the $20 AC adapter and saw the LRA-DCRXS was $35 so I bought it instead. The LRA-DCRXS works great unlike the junk I had bought from a big box store. Pros: • small size • plugs directly into AC • compatible with prior purchase (no planned obsolescence or incompatibilities like products from big multinational corporations) Cons: • none

I have steel siding on my home. I tried a couple of units from the big box store that either did not work right out of the box or lasted about 2 weeks. The ERA-RXPG is a great unit. More than enough power to shoot through anything at great distances. Only complaint is the instructions were a little misleading. Took me some time to figure it out. I would highly recommend this product.

The new doorbell button was easy to install. I had already measured the distance between the mounting screws before purchase so using the same mounting screws from the old ringer I it was a seamless installation.

I had issues with the doorbell the builder installed as once I switched to ring or nest - the doorbell sounded funny when it rang - however this bell Sol ed the, sounds great and looks amazing - I could not be happier!

I work in a business that has three security doors between the doorbell button on the outside of the building and the outlet inside where the doorbell speaker is plugged in. On the first try - we all started laughing because the doorbell was so loud we had to turn the volume down. Hooray!! Easy installation too.

After searching the Internet I came across the 4000’ alarm having a driveway that’s a half mile long I read the reviews and bought it. Works PERFECT!!! The sensor has 3 settings for distance the 50’ setting is enough for me to hide the sensor. Have recommended it to friends.

Doorbell was exactly as ordered and delivered very timely (twice - see below), and it works. One hiccup. When I received the first delivery and sought to test it (including having my local hardware store put it on a current tester) before final securing of wires and installation, it appeared not to work. I notified customer service, and was advised that a replacement would be sent, without the need for returning the first one. The second one arrived promptly, but upon testing again appeared not to work. Puzzled, I then pried thing apart to investigate, and discovered that because of the construction, any test that does not tighten the contact screws completely or mostly completely, will make it appear that the button does not work. I suggest perhaps put something in the box that makes this clear. Now, of course, I have two working gizmos, one installed and one extra that I do not need. Can I somehow use the promised delivery coupon to return the extra one to you?
