Good device at a good price

I like the Long-Range Wireless Doorbell kit - it's inexpensive for what you get and the quality seems very good. Setup and installing take only minutes. And based on my prior experience I know the support is excellent. My reason for taking off one star is that there are only two chimes out of the twelve that we found useful (the first two - and they are too similar). I wish there were a few more simple but distinct chime sounds.

Ding Dong, who's there, a damn good doorbell!

This is an out of the box review, I am pleased with the kit containing 3 door buttons, one plug in flash/tone receiver and one motion sensor.
The unit works well, the design of the push buttons are awesome.

I personnally think someone should have an open mind about the tones or music options. The music options are aweful because I don't personnally like them. I had to chose DING-DONG, BIRD CALLS and one other option because I have three doors. THE MUSIC OPTIONS ARE OLD FASHION .....

I have not activated the motion sensor yet, because of a not included battery. Damn that's wierd are nine volt batteries that expensive? I am unable to review that device at this time. It's very light weight and the plastic housing is a concern for outdoor weather conditions.

Perfect solution for caregiver alerter

My house is set up where it's difficult for me to hear a call for assistance from a distant room. The ERA system has a brilliant strobe light and numerous options of chime signals from piercing to melodic, with several volume gradations. We have a larger, twenty year old home that has an antiquated security system which needs to be replaced soon at great expense. Most of the components will never be used again and most of the system is not necessary because of all of the technology available today.
