I moved into a house with this doorbell. The doorbell didn’t work. The original doorbell had a worn foam-type pad. I researched to find this replacement. The transmitter worked fine but the press pad was the same soft foam which seemed to require a greater effort to push the bell in comparison to a hard plastic cover where the door bell is pressed.

I had a little trouble installing this because two of the wires in my home doorbell apparently were reversed upon installation so I had to change from the red wire to the white wire and then the system worked so it’s not the systems fault. It’s whoever installed my doorbell when they built my house 40 years ago. This is well worth having. It gives me great peace of mind to know I can know when my doorbell rings when I’m in my basement or in my workshop. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

I wired the doorbell and it was lighted but, the wiring instructions stated if the doorbell; when pressed did not play the complete music, I had to install a Diode between the two terminals. NOW the light doesn't work.

Not great sound quality. Serves the purpose in that the plug in at back of house so we are aware of doorbell now. We don’t need the light….. yet :) Nice option.

The device remains tamper proof by its good design and by its location above the door frame. It’s also unobtrusive and leaves the side walls free for shelving and pallets. Finally a neat, battery operated, alert with pleasant ring tones that allows businesses to know that customers have entered the premises. Customers also feel welcomed and announced. (Just a nice Ding dong not a damn burglar alarm). How easy!

Just ordered this entry chime system for my retail store. It's a very simple to install system. The motion sensor works perfectly and the chime sounds can be adjusted to your liking. I didn't install the strobe yet - I'll do that only if my employees miss customers coming in the doors. I also like that you can add up to 4 different sensors for each of the zones.

I ordered a large Gecko/Salamander earlier and he is scaring people at our front door. I then needed a smaller version for the back door and you had just what I needed. It came quickly, was just as cute as his big brother and fits perfectly. My wife was very pleased with this addition to our porch.

My spouse is beginning to experience some hearing loss and misses calls form our existing ding-dong doorbell at our front door. This product has eliminated that problem. Easy to install if you have basic tools and are handy with simple electrical work.

Our new doorbell button arrived very quickly, and was a cinch to install. I’d give it five stars if the button itself was more securely mounted in the circular plate. I found that the button pops out thru the front of the plate quite easily , so some sort of clip or ring would be useful to hold it in place. Otherwise, great product and looks very nice.

I ordered some add-on ringers for a system purchased a few years ago, without noticing that there had been a change which caused a compatibility issue. When I realized my mistake and called, they were as helpful as could be, sending compatible units and including a return label for the incompatible ones. Everything works perfectly, and they made it easy.

I used the doorbell as a remote relay triggered by the push button. The relay activated a vintage chime doorbell. Tech support was excellent and relay worked perfectly.

Seems like an excellent product although I've only had it working for less thana week so far. But so far, and excellent product.

Kudos that it reached farther to the target zone than my existing alarms but short of my hopeful goal. I live in the woods of northern Michigan. The alarm is active at about the 1000 foot mark which is short of the target distance for incoming intruders. For those looking for a clear line of sight alarm this should work for you, but for those living in the woods it has a hard time reaching out through the forest.

The original doorbell system with chime was so great and easy to program, we decided to get another receiver for our warehouse. It was so simple to pair with the existing chimes and loud enough to hear back there. We have tried a couple of different options in the past, but due to signal issues and them being more complex, they did not work for us. This system is so basic and easy to use, it just works great for our needs.

My order was placed via phone call. The sales lady was professional with good product knowledge. I found the products to be well designed, easy to set up and install, at a small business. I would definitely recommend 1800doorbell products.

Suited us well. I fried my first on trying to use 24v to support two nest doorbell cams. I switched to a 16v 30w transformer with a replacement chime and it works!

We purchased this for a rather unorthodox reason. My FIL lives next door and is elderly. So the bell is at our house (over 100 yds away), and the button is at his house. He just pushes the button when he needs us if his phone isn't handy. It's great! We think we need a few more buttons though. It's easy to program/set up, and works like a charm! We definitely recommend it!

I made an error on my order. When i discovered it that night i e-mailed a change request hoping it would be received before shipping. 1800Doorbell must have reacted immediately. We had been trying to replace our doorbell button for several months. The offerings at the local hardware and home improvement stores were unimpressive but bought what looked okay in the bubble pack. It came apart with our second visitor. The Craftsman styled doorbell button is attractive and very well made. It installed easily and is just what we wanted and competitively priced.
