Its volume is advertised as "loud". And I had to turn the volume down in my 4200 squire foot house. You could have up to 4 sets of any number of doorbell buttons with 4 different ringtones. My only egret in the number of chime tunes is small and too short.

I purchased this doorbell because the distance the signal on my old wireless doorbell would not carry very far. If my receivers were a little further away they would not even work. I was amazed how far I could be away and the receivers still connected with the transmitter. I actually went next door to one of my neighbors and the doorbell receivers still worked. Exactly what I was looking for.

Great Customer Service, helped with questions & what I needed. Received doorbell kit plus 1 extension. Install was easy. Took a while to pair receiver, worked once very loud, went to adjust volume & piece broke, very delicate. Other recover seems ok, but cautious about adjusting volume if need to move to other area. Called company and again excellent CS. Would improve to volume dial on product instead. This was the LRA-DCRX

Upon receiving the doorbell extender I wired it into my existing doorbell and nothing worked. It paired with the chimes but would not recognize the actual doorbell. I called the company which gave me a few suggestions but nothing worked. I then had them send me a wireless door bell which goes with the extenders and at that point everything worked perfectly. I sent the wired extender back and kept the wireless doorbell. I think the wired doorbell extender need a little more work. When I purchased this item I was hoping to find the chimes were loud so I would hear the bell from anywhere in my home. I was very pleasantly surprised how loud they were, exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered an extra button for my new Carlon doorbell and it will not work. the sample problems solving ideas were no help. Please email me with what is needed to make this work. My wife had surgery and is recovering. If I were to work in my shop, I may not be able to hear my phone so I NEED a visual way of knowing if she is needs help. With this product she can push the button and I will see the flashing strobe. Problem solved. The strobe can flash for multiple time lengths which is GREAT!,,, I am considering buying a second receiver so I can “wire” different areas of our house without having to move the receiver.

This is an excellent product with one exception, the range from the doorbell button to the bell and strobe light is limited and can be weak depending on the material you are mounting the button. When mounted on the aluminum frame of a storm door the as not enough strength in the signal to ring the bell less than twenty five feet away. Button must be mounted on wood or vinyl siding.

THE PART # IS THE SAME BUT THE ITEM IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT, BUT IS SHOULD BE OK.

I'm an old schooler that remembers the phone company advertising "Let your fingers do the walking." The more things change, the more things stay the same. I went to four different places looking for the same style door bell button I wanted to replace, because the finish had worn off. None of the Depot type stores had that style or even close. My first buttons were faulty and the company immediately shipped me two more which work perfectly. It's easy to install and the chime loudness is adequate though it could be louder. I would love an ornate button, but I was told that wireless buttons can not send a signal if they are made of metals. So the button does the job and is attractively plain. The customer service at 1800Doorbell is absolutely wonderful and amazingly cheerful and helpful. thank you!

We ordered this for our warehouse. We have office walls and racks, etc. in our 50,000 sq ft warehouse. We have had no issues with the signals going from outside our back door to a receiver by the front of the building. I had one small issue when I was first setting up a receiver (operator error) and was easily and politely helped by the customer service team! I highly recommend this product.

I just hope it lasts being on the south side of the house in the sun. Our last one was a cheap plastic button didn't last one year. So the proof will in to see if it at least lasts 5 or more years. I never had to replace the one on my old house.

Good system to have for long distance area

It is a little early to place the review. We received the door chime with 2 doorbells. One did not work. Customer Service was very nice and is suppose to be mailing me out another doorbell. So that was all excellent. There just has not been enough time to have received it yet. So for now everything is good!

Replaced an older one that finally quit working after 9 years. Works just as advertised and actually works up to at least 1100 feet away.

I live in a 3-level town home and for some strange reason, the developer didn't include doorbells on the units. Although I have an open floor plan, I wasn't sure if this unit would work given the specs, but I decided to give it a try and it functions perfectly. With the help of the awesome customer service rep, I paired the doorbell with two of the plug-in chime units. I used a 3M Command strip to attach the doorbell to the door. I put one chime unit on the main level and one upstairs in the bedroom and I can hear the doorbell in every room. I had searched another popular site for doorbells and they were all too large and clunky. I have a narrow space on the door frame and this one is slim enough to fit - and doesn't detract from the look of the home. Very happy and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again and would recommend to others.

Got this so we did not have to use bateries with the door chime. it works and is worth the money.

We ordered this for our store because the old one stopped working all the time, it also had a delay when it did work. This one however is fantastic! It "chimes" as soon as the door is opened. The sound is loud enough that we can hear it over drills and other shop tools. Set up was easy and quick. The flashing light is nice as well but we always hear the chime. Well worth the money!

This is a good way to add automated motion sensing capabilities to your driveway lights. But, the material that is made with has to be installed carefully as kind of fragile. Treat it extra gently when installing. Any rough or careless handling could break it.

I looked for some time to find an attractive doorbell that was compatible with the flat surface of our new dutch lap siding. No local store had anything close that was attractive. This is very attractive, fits perfectly, and works well. I replaced the mounting screws with stainless sheet metal screws that have full thread, since it is directly attached to the siding. The wood screws that come with had a smooth portion that would not have gripped. Not an issue at all.

Purchase and receipt of shipment fine. Installed buttons and they look and work fine. Time will tell about their durability. (I searched for these to replace the cheap thin metal and poor quality plastic buttons available at the blue and at the orange big boxes).

Used 2 of the LH-2500 units to set up a wireless panic button system for a convenience store. Transmitters are in the store and the receivers are in 2 separate buildings 500ft away. A single button push set off both receivers. This was the solution they have been looking for for years!
