It is so helpful to be able to talk to a representative and have my doorbell issues solved immediately. I did have trouble changing the batteries but decided the price of the doorbell transmitter was easier than the trouble of trying to change the batteries.

I have a driveway that’s 150’ from the street and visitors generally enter at the rear door. Our area has recently been inundated with porch pirates stealing packages. Even though we have a “Ring” doorbell, the 1800 Doorbell now gives us the early warning that allows us to earlier observation of our visitors before they reach the door. The added alert has greatly enhanced our sense of “readiness” for anyone that might have the wrong motives. Because the 1800 Doorbell will alert us to both vehicles and pedestrians, we are letting our neighbors know how well the system works and highly recommending it.

These folks sent the wrong item at first. However, the customer service immediately answered my email and corrected the mistake and sent the item Priority Mail and the part came before the weekend. The part fit perfect, an exact replacement.

There we no instructions with the adapter as to where it plugged in at on the receiver. Took me a few minutes to find the spot as it was somewhat hidden on the back side, but once I found it, everything worked as expected. Very happy so far with this purchase.

My wife and I are very pleased with the FPC1520 Economic LED Window Candle w/ White Flame. They each take 3 AA batteries, but that is good because it adds weight to the base as well as allowing the candlelight to last longer. We can recommend them without reservation.

They aren't super bright, but they definitely do the trick without having electrical cords everywhere.

This larger (2" x 5") hammered metal doorbell is perfect for the stucco wall in front of the spanish colonial.

Just got the doorbell installed (TB1000-BN Beveled Cylinder LED Touch Button Brushed Nickel-Craftmade) and looked everywhere for a wired LED flush mount doorbell and this fits the bill. I will say it is a bit bigger than I thought it would be but not having to replace it every two years will be great. The Back light it bright white and easy to see. The installation was straight forward I had to use some longer screws to go into cement walls with plastic anchors. We have stucco that is not an even surface, so I had to use a bit longer screws to anchor deeper, but that is not a problem. The entire case is touch sensitive, so it doesn’t matter what part of it you touch. The case has a rubber mounting pad to insulate the case from the wall and the anchor screws have plastic insulators that keep the metal mounting screws insulated from the case. (just to not that it is needed and supplied with the screws). The touch also has a built in de-bounce so that touching quickly over and over again will wait between touches before triggering the bell a second time (nice feature). We will see how long it lasts, but the LEDs should be a lifetime. It could be smaller, but I don’t know how you could fit the electronics in a smaller package. Recommended

I purchased 8 of these candles after searching for years to find a high quality, beautiful candle to light up my windows. I use them as dusk to dawn and they last for months on 3 “C” batteries. Love the white glow of the candles.

I've been through multiple buttons for this doorbell and while the plug-in doorbell unit is very good, our harsh Arizona climate is hard on the buttons. They last a year or two and then I need to replace them. I've search for something better without success. If you live someplace where the summer temps stay under 115, you may have a better experience.

the system works great, we have a large warehouse facility and needed some sort of an alert system for our receiving department. We are very pleased with how well it works. However the instructions are terrible and there are no instructions online to speak of either.

We are a household with teenagers that feel that their parents are expired in their thinking and rules are made to be broken; making windows a escape route with out detection. We have ADT but for that to work alarm must be on all the time, we was needing 24 hour notices and the Carlon Key Entry Contact Exit Alarm does just that... There is no switch off or anything make sure to place close together so they that they cant stick a magnets in between so the connection wont be broken when opening window or door giving that we have them on both the alarm is loud loud enough to wake one to alert.
