What a great heads up! Install a sensor near the beginning of your driveway. For half circle driveways, install two sensors. Make each sensor trigger separate tones so you know when someone is coming and going. Get a separate speaker for your master bath so you’ll hear arrivals there too 😉. Get another speaker for each level of your home. Super convenient.

We purchased and installed this doorbell and two extra receiver units about 4 days ago for a relative with a profound hearing loss. It performed as advertised. The flashing light is bright and continues to flash for 15 seconds or so after the tone stops. Would suggest keeping the tone announcement operating the entire times the light is flashing, to possibly add a voice announcement "doorbell" and to make the volume on the tones still louder. We have three receivers in a 1400 square foot ranch house and the tones are still not heard. we are planning to add three more receivers, almost one of every room. The transmitter button seems to be well made. We will have to see about the coin cell life in the transmitter

Was excited to find a door bell that I did not have to use with a transformer. Works great with batteries and easy to attach to my outside door ringer. A great find.

The doorbell installed easily and looks great. It uses a mounting plate that the doorbell clips into, so it was easy to adjust the spacing to the existing holes in the brick. The listing indicated that it was an lighted LED button, but when I got it, the packaging didn't even mention that, but I tested it before installing it and it does light up. :)

It works and looks great (we got the blue light alert add on to the bell-that way we can “see” when folks ring the bell when it’s loud). Shipped on time as well. I installed it myself and I’m a girl! This was well worth the money!! I also bought an extra chime. So I put one chime in my bedroom which is in the back of the house and one chime that is in the den (also in the back of the house. With my original door bell I could never hear it ring, so I thought I would try this one. It works perfectly!!

Looks very nice. The outer frame requires installing the inner chimes box vertically. The chimes work vertically, but I suspect they were designed to be installed horizontally. The sound isn't as nice.

Works as advertised. If you need a wireless remote doorbell that is quick and easy, this could really fit the bill for you.

I did not have a doorbell. This wireless system was so easy to install. Pairing two doorbells was a breeze. For the price you can’t beat this.

This doorbell push button is of better quality than the one that you get when you purchase the Carlon wireless doorbell. I did do a small improvement on the push button by first disassembling it and then coating the circuit board with "MG Chemicals 422B Silicone Modified Conformal Coating" as the area where it was mounted was the side of the hous that received the highest winds as well as rain and snow. With this additionsl protection the push button should last for quite some time as compared to the original that only lasted less tahn a year. By the way I worked in the electronics industry for 42 years and I am familiar with handling circuit boards ( I have an anti-static strap ) as well as chemicals. In the case of the MG Chemicals 422B I coated the board out of doors and left it outside for over three hours in order to be certain that it had dried properly and that the smell was gone. If you live in a drier climate you should not have any need to do what I did. An additional FYI I live just south of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I ordered the door bell kit three months ago. Unfortunately, it stopped working two weeks ago. I thought it may be transmitter that is the problem, and I emailed the customer service and they quickly sent me a new transmitter without charge. However, the door bell still did not work. I emailed the 1800doorbell service again about the problem, and they quickly sent me a new doorbell kit. I installed it a few days ago, and it works like a charm. I am really impressed with the excellent service, and they send me the replacement without any charge and hassle. I highly recommend the product as well as the excellent customer service at 1800doorbell! Fiver stars!

I purchased the extension doorbell for my father's house. They sit in the garage and back deck much of the summer where they could not hear a doorbell if anyone came to the front door. Using LRA-1000S and then the extra receiver, I was able to install the extender easily and now when the front doorbell rings, it also rings in the garage and on the deck. I am very pleased with the purchase and got exactly what I was expecting. My stepmother even liked the different chimes and selected one that was appealing to her. 100% positive here! Thank you.

Mine stopped working after a year or two. Called the company and they sent me a new one immediately with no charge. Can't beat that. Only complaint is it's impossible to get back into the little transmitter box once you close the cover.

This device was very simple to install in just a few minutes. Works exactly as described. Now we can hear the doorbell in our bedroom! Very happy with this and would recommend if you need to hear your doorbell where you can’t hear it now.

Living in rural setting we needed a sensor on our long wooded driveway. This doorbell did that and added 2 buttons for doors

The bell was easy to install and works well, but without a way to narrow the scope of motion capture, it rings when we would prefer it not...when people are walking in the shop near the entrance. We tried lowering the sensor, but if we get it too low, it will be within reach of the public. it's nice to be notified and the volume control and chime options are nice.

Bought this to replace my old doorbell when I re-stain my wood siding. Not installed yet, but the new button is beautiful and has a heavy weight indicating solid construction.

Doorbell flasher works great. Two flasher are used for two levels in the house. It was necessary to add 1/4" plywood behind the transmitter to match the base thickness of the doorbell.

I couldn't believe the range of the units. We have doorbells set up on our two buildings and the the units work perfectly! Set up the system in less than ten for two chimes and two buttons.

I replaced an extender unit, not wireless, that was battery operated and mounted on the wall close to my 10 foot ceiling. It required being on a tall ladder to change the batteries. I`m 87 and don't do ladders. Your wireless unit mounted where where I can reach it was a great solution. However it's sound is not quite as loud as my old unit, and the music isn't as nice either. Also, I wish the sound played longer. That was disappointing. But it does work, and for that I am grateful. It did require an electrician to install it. I learn alot about a company when things don’t go smoothly. I purchased an entry door alert receiver that was priced reasonably and shipped quickly. Unfortunately, the receiver was not compatible with the older transmitter I was using. Support worked with me to determine this. When it was determined it would not work, the company made returning the item for refund easy. I will go back to 1800doorbell in the future if I need anything they carry.

These sensors work wonderfully and actually fit into the flood light fixture, unlike the short shank sensors available in the big box stores.

This driveway sensor and remote alarm worked perfectly right out of the box. I left the sensitivity settings at the factory values, screwed it to a tree facing away from the street, synced it to the receiver chime system. It worked perfectly right away. I am not getting any false alarms and it picks up walkers and (of course) vehicles that come into the driveway. Great product.

This is our second unit. The original lasted at least 10 years. We live in a rural area and want the security of an alarm, especially when we have the gate open for package deliveries or repair workers. The doorbell chime is loud enough for my hard of hearing husband to hear throughout the house. The only complaint is that in our high wind and dusty environment of the high desert, it often sets off the alarm. We appreciated the quick shipping. Keep up the good work - great product.

Robust & reliable. Adjustable volume is great. But I'd really like a way to adjust the strobe brightness. It's hard to see the zone indicator when the strobe is flashing. Fortunately, a piece of white tape across the front of the strobe solves this problem. Now it mostly lights up the ceiling, which is just what I want.

I replaced an expensive Nutone doorbell that wasn't giving the dong (just the ding), even after I switched out the transformer. This doorbell gives a nice ding-dong sound, its slightly louder than our old doorbell. The tubular look is sleek and expensive looking. Super easy to install. I recommend this doorbell.
