Took my husband a while to figure it out as directions weren't very clear. He has it in his wood shop. Needs to be louder and brighter because if he isn't facing the strobe, he doesn't see it.

Couldn't have been easier to install, a ladder, small screw driver, two screws and plug in the chime where you want to hear it. I needed mine in the garage - the next day I hear the bell chime. PS, I got bad hearing and it did the job for me. One satisfied customer.

Product works great for a large office building. Installation was relatively easy. The chimes have adjustable volume. You can hear the chimes from a long ways away. We used the doorbell and door chime feature with the two receivers. Overall we are very pleased with the product.

Without a doubt this is the best driveway alarm on the market. Wish I would have found this unit sooner before wasting my money on less expensive units. Just one problem, the transmitter bracket which is made out of a VERY thin aluminum will create problems when snow plowing. The bracket is too weak to keep the transmitter stationary when snow hits it.

We installed this system for two separate entries and they wring correspondingly in two separate locations. Both at least 100 feet away and through several walls. Works great. No complaints. I would buy it again.

We bought this strobe light to use with the long range wireless door alert kit, and it works great! It's the perfect solution as it can sometimes be very loud in our warehouse, so even if we don't hear the receiver chime we can still see the strobe light and know that a customer has come in. It doesn't flash obnoxiously, which is great; just two quick flashes and that's it. Would recommend this item to anyone looking for a similar setup.

I have used this doorbell button before and they are not readily available in local Hardware or Lumber yards.rnThey are the only ones that will stand up to our friends the Woodpeckers. The metal face cap holds up much rnlonger than the plastic version which they destroy in a few days. The last one I installed lasted 3 years with rnthe metal face. Now if I could only un-train the Woodpeckers from ringing the bell every night, that would be rngood !!!!!

We have had our devices installed for several days now. We are pleased with their function and the fact that the operate without batteries or electricity. Plus they were easy to install.

The cover for the doorbell chime will not sit flat on the wall . It doesn't look good. the single ding for the back door has a long ding sound before it stops . It's not worth the money that it costs . I trying to get a refund . It was told to me by someone at doorbell.com they only sell the product .

Product is easy to install and has a couple options for sounds which are short and sweet, perfect for a shop front or office entryway. Only downfall is that it picks up on the movement of the door when it closes so it makes a noise when somebody enters and also when the door shuts automatically behind the person (they are already far past the sensor at this point so it's definitely picking up the door movement not the person) overall a great product, does the trick!

First off, the doorbell chime for my 1928 Brick Bungalow renovation looks at home, sounds great, and was integrated with my original 1925 mailbox/doorbell buzzer. Most important, the customer service I received with 1800Doorbell was beyond expectations! Thank you for such a great product and even more so for making this so easy!

Beautiful addition to my front door. So unique, unlike the standard push button doorbell. The product card said "Push Button" so I was puzzled as to how it was going to work since nothing could be pushed. Just a touch is all that is needed. Wonderful.

Had to replace my first wireless button after about 30 years. Best doorbell system ever. One for front and another for rear, and you can change the tunes by the press of a button. At my Home there will never be another type.

We have had one of these in our home for a dozen years so that you can hear the doorbell in the basement. Works great. I recently bought another so that my mother could hear the doorbell when she is in the back part of her house. Now she can hear the doorbell ring back there even when she isn't wearing her hearing aids.

Unable to change the batteries,I was able to have a Home Depot associate help me put in new ones. Brought it home and still not working.....frustrated and annoyed, I returned to Home Depot, returned the batteries and tried to purchase a new one......they did not carry this.........so, returned to web site and ordered push button and lo and behold, once fixed on the outer door, all was well.......chimes galore....it was worth the $ to have the doorbell work again.....next time the push button tells me the battery is low, that is what I will do..just buy a new push button......there is no way I am going to go through trying to take out and put in batteries...was a puzzle and just so hard to take out and put in........thanks for the quick response and have a great Holiday!!!

I chose the unit with the greatest range because I knew I had a difficult situation: metal doors, blocking, interference.rnI was able to mount the bell right on the aluminium door frame and the signal reached the the bell! Perfect! BTW, the bell ships with the LEDs "off" - so, read the directions!

I bought a replacement brass door bell (item DH1667L) for my back door. First the salesman on the phone was MOST helpful in helping me selecting the right doorbell. It installed in a matter of moments and works perfectly. I decided to replace my front doorbell with the same one and just ordered it today.

Perfect for our facility. 12K sq.ft and we were never where we needed to be when shipping/receiving carriers would arrive. We were skeptical about the volume of the chimes, but they are loud enough to hear even with industrial fans running. The range is fantastic. We use two units with two buttons. Each button rings both units so no matter where we are we know someone is at the door.

After I came back from the Middle East in 2008, I was sent to Atlanta, Georgia for the company I worked for. I was advised to have an alarm on my doors and windows or some type of overall alarm system. I purchased the Key Entry Contact Alarm and it was exactly what I needed. Very easy to install, and it WORKS! There is a short delay that allows you to turn it off before it activates, which is very nice. My first experience with the activation was when I forgot about the alarm and had two large bags of groceries in my arms, and before I set the groceries down (the apartment was dark and no lights on) the alarm went off and groceries went everywhere. It worked great, beyond what I could have hoped for! This is a MUST HAVE for apartment renters or anyone wanting an alarm that will be heard in the whole house. I thought that these were not made anymore, but I found this company on-line and it is still available.The customer service at 1800-Doorbell was above excellent - they have my business from now on.

The quality is good and price is in range. Living in a country setting with burglaries & home invasions, It's a safer feeling knowing I can see who is coming in so I can be prepared. Several friends have gotten information from me on these informers.

I replaced my old doorbell and transformer. I bought this 30 watt transformer because it was recommended if the run of the doorbell wire was over 50 feet. I have no idea of the length of run of the doorbell wire, it may or may not be over 50 ft. - this transformer works great. For the few dollars more than the 10 watt transformer it was worth it.

WOW, I was not expecting this quality for the price. This is actually a SOLID brass piece, not a brass plated chunk if stamped tin. The finish is bright and the details really dress up my front door. I liked it so much that I replaced the button on the back door with the same button. As someone who has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, I give this product an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

RECEIVERS ARE NOT LOUD ENOUGH. STROBE IS EXCELLENT. DIFFICULT TO SET TWO RECEIVERS AND TWO TRANSMITTERS TO WORK TOGETHER. SHOULD HAVE DOUBLE BACK TAPE TO INSTALL TRANSMITTERS ALSO.

I am very impressed and happy with the LH 2500 and UT door alert system. We have 20,000 plus sq feet in our church with two main buildings. The new building is a two story metal building with a gymnasium attached. So I was worried about reaching the office with as it would need to go through both buildings. We put in two receivers and 6 transmitters and they work flawlessly! Yes, I would recommend it!

I have had this item for 16 years, and recently had to replace the receiver as the power supply was cracked, making it an electrical hazard. I always like knowing when someone comes on to our property as we cannot see the bottom of our driveway (we own a farm) - and I dislike being surprised. This is one of those kind of items that once you have it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it! Great product - most reliable of them all!

Very impressed haven't had any false alarms. Also I have a lot of trees and bushes that the signal has to pass through or around and problem.

After several attempts to get a simple office notification of an entrance to our building through local home box stores, several "add-ons" to them from Amazon.com, and so much complication...I tried this one simple purchase from 1800Doorbell. I absolutely wish I had just gone here first. The unit works exactly like I had hoped. I simply wanted to hear a sound when a customer comes through our doors. No false alarms. No annoying sounds. It was easy. It was worth every cent. It was more expensive than the unit that I bought at the local home specialty store, but much cheaper once I added on this component and that component from Amazon. What a waste of time and money. This unit will do the trick.

Works perfectly. We added a sun room to the back of the house and a second floor above. We could not hear the door bell from either space. We purchased and installed wireless door chime and extra receiver. Money well spent. The transmitter must be wired to existing low voltage door bell; very good instructions and very easy to do. Highly recommended.

We have a metal warehouse building and have had trouble finding a door chime for our receiving gate that would penetrate the building wall. This chime is the only unit that has worked and we have the bell button mounted about 100 feet from the chime.

Using this as a door chime alert when someone enters the office. Tried the wireless doorbells which worked fine until mounted on two aluminum frame doors. This is just a one piece motion sensor that works as designed. Volume is adjustable as well as the tone. Very easy to install.

This product is excellent. Our building is very long and narrow. It is built with cinder block and heavy metal doors. You can hear it clearly in the entire building. It saved us $2500 in paying to have one hard-wired in. Highly recommend it.

This was exactly what our office needed. The range is wonderful, the volume is powerful, and the strobe is hard to ignore. Only four ring options is kinda limited (the fourth being the stuff of nightmares), but they are distinct and the whole system is versatile enough to easily meet our needs.

I was looking for a driveway alarm that would not get set off by tree movement or shadows. So far it does a good job just picking up people, vehicles, and animals. A few times it picks up birds. The only thing I do not like is the tone. It is not a clear crisp sound, it almost sounds muffled. Then there are only 4 sound options and most of them are way too long. I only have it set to the one single tone. Would like something that does not sound like a muffled doorbell. The distance that the signal reaches from the sensor to the receiver seems to be very good. I have not tried it at our furthest point yet.

I actually used this in my home to replace the hideous plastic box most homes come with. I was looking for something That had a vintage look to it for the wall which I just did an aged wood plank on. It is perfect in aesthetics and sound!!!

Love it works great, so great when my husband mows close to sensor I hear every swipe. Have not had animal set off yet...had to move receiver closer to sensor when wouldn't work one morning as husband leaving for work & raining it didn't go off...moved the closest it can possible be so hope it does work better during rain. Although it's on the loudest it can be can't hear when I'm at far end of house. Anyone have any suggestions? Will update as time goes by.

Does not include diode, nor does it provide the space to install one. We had diode from previous doorbell and able to make it fit with some effort. It is a very nice piece of art and has received many compliments.

I bought this push button to replace one that I bought years ago. The batteries began to die so I tried replacing the batteries and must have damaged it.rnI ordered it, received it w/i a week, popped the old one off, put the new one on. Works great! Thank you.

I am so happy that I was able to purchase this product. When the old doorbell that came with the chimes didn't work anymore (after seven good years) I thought I had to go out and buy a new set, chimes with ringer. I bought several types at the box store but returned them all. They all sounded so tinny and high pitched I couldn't stand it. I love my Carlon door chime but didn't know the brand at the time because it does not appear anywhere on the chimes. I bought several different ringers in an effort to keep my chimes but none of them worked. I finally had to break down and buy a whole new set that I didn't want and didn't like. It wasn't until I removed the plate that is screwed into the house that I saw the Carlon label on the back side and was able to track it down online. Now I'm so happy I have the ringer that works with my original chimes. But I kept the old plate because the new one doesn't have a label anywhere on it.

hugs and kisses. I bought and personally installed 2 outside sensors and 2 inside receivers and they work very well. My wife loves them and thinks I am a genius. Maybe I exaggerated a little but she definitely loves the alarms when someone enters our gate which is 1000 feet from the house.
