Works like a charm, exactly what I expected it to be by the description - love it! I can hear the bell from the back parking lot of our 3200 sq ft building (bell is on front door).

I read the review about the guy not liking this unit. and I was uneasy about ordering it but installing this unit was as easy as 123.I like the long range of the sender and that it is plugged into the ac.it is a big load off my mind as my water heater is 12 years old so it is only a matter of time B/4 the detector does it's job.

Range is decent, as long as there are no obstructions to block the signal from the transmitter to the receiver (even within 150 feet). I have tried to put the transmitter in a few different places to keep it from sensing the door closing, but am still having a hard time with it. Overall, satisfied with this system because even with false alarms, I know when somebody enters my store.

the hard wire system is what we needed for our location. The ones from the local HD stores would not work. How ever the volume is to low even on high so it is hard to hear. The ones from the local HD have a higher volume for our location.

We have had this item for about 6 years now and we LOVE it.rnIt is one of our favorite things to show people who visit at Christmastime.

This transformer is powerful enough to power two two-tone Heath-Zenith mechanical chimes. One star deducted because the screw to attach transformer to the electrical box didn't have enough clearance for me. Not nearly as easy as the plastic nut my last transformer came with. But, the chimes sound great with this transformer, so overall I am pleased.

Worked as expected and I would refer to friend.

We are impressed with this doorbell. We have purchased several expensive wired bells, but do not ring loud enough to hear in all parts of house. We have no problem with hearing this one.

I knew I needed something wireless but wasn't sure of what was available. The man I spoke with was very helpful in suggesting this product and I am VERY happy with it. It was extremely easy to install. I had it out of the box, mounted and ready to go in 15 minutes and that time includes getting my ladder and drill and putting them away. The bell is volume controlled and I bought an extra for the second floor. One is set up 30' away with a brick wall between them and the other is on the second floor on the other side of the building (so walls and floors do not interfere) In Short, reliable product, easy install, fast delivery, courteous service! As for price, I have no idea about comparisons because I don't know what the market is on these things but for what I needed it for, it was worth it to me.

Very easy to program, mount and gets your attention when activated. We are using this device at our Admissions Desk with the strobe and chime located in our Managers Office. When someone at admissions needs the manager, they push the door bell and the strobe lights lets the manager know he/she is needed. Chime is turned off.

This is a nice doorbell. When I picked it up off the front porch after FEDEX dropped it off, I could not believe how heavy it was. It is really a nice doorbell.

In our home the wired doorbell cannot be heard in the master bedroom. By adding the "Plug-In Extend-A-Chime Door Chime Extender" we are now able to answer the doorbell when we are in that room. The product is quite good. The transmitter is easily attached to the existing doorbell, and the receiver/chime simply plugs into any house electric outlet. It took five minutes to install with just a screw driver.

The doorbell extender was very easy to install and now I can be out on my screened porch and never worry about missing a visitor.

The Chime volume is not loud enough to ouvecome background noise even on the highest setting. Installation was simple. Overall I would rate a 3

Our doorbell works great, it is so comforting to know that now I can tell if someone enters our office. The installation was easy and the versatility of the unit allows us to place the unit at different angles to catch the door/people movements. The EZ Tone Entrance Alert is very dependable. We use it for entrance at our customer lobby and I would recommend it to all Post Offices with Full Service Lobbies.

I work at a continuing care community with about 800 residents. Our average age is 80. We just started installing these door chimes upon request. They really work great for our residents that are hard of hearing.

Solved a problem. I couldn't hear the doorbell in my bedroom. Now I can. As it states in the directions, you will only get 1 chime selection if you have a lighted doorbell. One chime is much better than not hearing the doorbell at all!

I purchased the door bell alarm and put the receiver in the living room. I put the button in bedroom(1)and the other button in bedroom (2). we are a older couple with health issues. If either one needs something, we just push the button to alert the other. Thank you so much

Installation and set-up was a breeze. Works great. I added the strobe which helps because of the noise in the shop. I have the strobe set for the longest on time but that's only 5 seconds. I think a longer on time would be better. I was told the 9V battery in the transmitter should last at least 6 months but I still think an AC adapter would be a nice option.

This is a potential life saver. My elderly neighbor has a tendency to walk away from their home & with this, I have a receiver in my house so I can hear when they walk out of their door. I've gotten an extra transmitter and a couple extra receivers. There's a receiver in 2 houses, in case one of us us doesn't hear the dinging of the neighbors transmitters going off.rnrnA great product!

Purchased 2 alarms and an extra sensor. One alarm was to alert me if my 96 yr. old Mom had unexpected visitors when I was next door at my home. Her dementia prevented her from using good judgement and I couldn't stand every minute watching the house to see who called. Brother installed and darn thing worked so great every vehicle using our deadend road was announced! Yep, the 4 AM news carrier! That got fixed quickly! The second unit and extra sensor went to my brother's house. His worked too good also, but both are adjusted now and are fantastic. Only took about 15 min. to install. Have never felt so secure!

Two door bells were purchased for an 86 year young lady who is going deaf. The unit were placed so that she was able to see the strobes reflexing on the wall. They have allowed her the ability to know went someone is at her front door.

This is my second door-bell extender and I'm very pleased that it was still available after some 10 years of service (power surge took out my original). Very easy to install and the remote can be moved to another room(if necessary)! 5 Stars for product,same for customer support!

Easy installation and sound is great. The cover does not fit flush to the wall and tilts down, so is not attractie and not secure. Had to use 3M adhesive squares on corners to get to look nice on wall and not fall off.

Customer service was great and the product arrived on a timely basis. However, even though it works well it only dings one time per ring instead of "ding dong" which is what we discussed it to be capable of doing at the time of order.

The units look great and work perfectly. You can hear the sound without any problems and plug them in anywhere you have an outlet.

The Extend a Chime door chime extender works very well and would get a 5 star rating except for one little problem. When we have storms or high winds, the chime activates all by itself. We just unplug it until the storm is over.

The driveway alarm works well. We have it about 500 ft down our driveway from the house so we know when someone is approaching the house. It is a good product for the price. We tried a cheaper version that was rated for up to 1,000 ft but would not work at 500 ft.

I needed a ornscdaey doorbell for my apartment. The original bell on the door was not loud enough to hear in the back bedrooms. The Honeywell wireless doorbell fits the bill. The volume control on it's highest setting is loud enough to hear throughout the apartment. I am also very pleased with the choice of chimes available especially the Westminster. Unfortunately, one downside of the bell is that the working range of the bell is cut in half due to the fact that my apartment door is made of metal; typical of New York apartments. This is something for apartment dwellers to take into consideration. However, if the free standing base is strategically placed, you will be able to hear the bell at a great distance. Another downside is that the sound eminates from the back of the base. Therefore, if hung on the wall the sound of the chime is greatly reduced and muffled. In any case, I am very pleased with the styling and quality of this wireless door chime.

Not too easy to set up--could be much simpler. Would prefer a battery alert, not electric.

This was a replacement bell as my grandson broke the one that came with the original set-up. Sorry it took so long to answer but the new part works wonderful-now if only I can keep little hands off!!

The driveway informer possibly saved our life on Dec. 8, 2010 when intruders approached our home at 4AM. I held a gun on the two thugs until Sheriff's Dept arrived. One had three warrants and was a reg. sex offender. The Driveway Informer can be your life-saver!

The bell is fine but it does need more sticky stuff on it. From being outside the sitcky stuff wears off faster than normal. Great bell, on second one in 2 years. Couldn't get battery out and I broke it.

Great dimmer, use it for our light on the night stand by the bed, just mount the ornament in an easy to reach area on the headboard to turn lights on/off or dim anytime. No more fumbling in the dark for the light switch! Also use in the living/family room for table lamp, very nice to control lighting with the touch of your finger!!

I purchased the Driveway Informer/Alarm several weeks ago and it has met my needs for the entrance to my property. I am aware that someone has entered the property before they come to the door. It is a well-made product and easy to install.

Worked very well; the only criticism is that the black caps that set the ringtone were hard to locate. Turns out they were on the battery cap, not the plug-in accessory and had to be removed with a needle nose plier. The directions should have specified where exactly the caps were located. Other than that, am pleased with the product.

I live in a military town and am deployed a lot. When I am gone, this product sends a warning to my wife when someone enters the driveway. Awesome b/c we both feel better.
