I ordered the RC3200 RC3200 Extend-A-Chime Set rnTo eliminate an area of our house where we could not hear the door chime. It has a volume control and is a plug in and use unit. A great product.

I have been buying these driveway alarms (and installing) then for my customers for years. The manufacturer's published range on this driveway alarm is actually 1,000 feet but I have installed it for customers who have gotten close to 3,000 feet range.rnrnAs a side note, we also use this as an outdoor entrance alert product. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is b/c nothing is perfect..I wish there was a portable receiver with this.

This has got to be the best invention ever!!!!! I have been using this for at least 5 years now and it is still working great! I have 3 and they get a ton of use at Christmas time. Even with the kids re-finding out how fun it is. This is a MUST for Christmas trees/garlands and whatever else you can think of!!!

It's nice being able to hear the doorbell in many rooms in the house, but the transmitter does not really function any more than about 40-50 feet. I do enjoy being able to adjust the volume and type of chime!

Works as advertized. Directions were clear. Took less than 10 minutes to install the wireless transmitter to the current hardwired doorbell.

No brainer to install, but I expected the volume to be more than it is (even when switched to loud). One weird thing that I found was that when the door bell is pressed, the original bell sounds first then about 2 or 3 seconds latter the new one goes off. I expected everything to go off at once, not a big deal though.

I prefer the privacy codes where they are on the Carlon products because if you accidentally change it, it then become incompatible with your other products. Anyway, how hard is it to unplug the door chime, flip it over and change the code? It is loud and has the flashing light.

worked exactly as promised, every time. volume controls awesome, no interference with neighboring businesses - as we had with last door chime. highly recommend.

Just a note at how incredible this product is. I have a bnc connector and then coax running up a tree. This is an antenna for me and I have it running several miles. This was long range wireless driveway alarms and now it is "an extremely long wireless driveway alarm" lol!
