this product was easy to set up. the instructions were easy to follow.

I bought a new doorbell and when I purchased it, I accidentally ordered two. I sent an email and within minutes that refunded the second one and also sent me my tracking number for the doorbell. It arrived two days

after showing my Amazon receipt it was all down hill from there. Got my replacement part within a week,

I should have read the installation instructions a little closer because any of the head scratching that I did was already spelled out in the instructions. I should have read the instructions more closely. My bad. Hey, I learned an important lession.

First, I'm a woman in her mid-80s, hearing impaired, and not technical. I was blessed to connect with Marilee via help on the Doorbell 1800 website, who shepherded me though what to get, since it required the bell, the transformer and outside button--all separate items that had to sync. WHEW!! Technical I had never-ending questions....and I needed help. Marilee is incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, most patient and helped me through the process. Once I knew precisely what to order, I completed the order online and she confirmed receipt. It shipped quickly and was packaged to make a safe trip via FedEx. Once I had electricians scheduled--I had 3 jobs, including the removal of old and install of the new doorbell, so they sent two men--one to do the doorbell and replace two fire alarms. The install was seamless, and he even commented on the design of the transformer, which made it easy and space-saving to install. Once done, I tested it and was so happy. I could hear it clearly, unlike the old one which was just a 'ding' and I often mistook it for coming from the TV. The two-toned ring, plus the higher decibel has changed my life. No more complaints from family and friends---"why don't you answer your door?" Once I got it ordered, with Marilee's help---the rest was seamless and I am over the moon so happy. Thank you Marilee and thank you Doorbell 1800 for keeping the hearing-impaired tuned into life.

Perfect for a one man shop, we have it setup to go off when a door opens. Easy to change the chimes and volume, plus the flashing light is great, just in case I don’t hear the chime!

The chime looks great. When I ran into technical questions the company supported me all the way - and - they answer their own phones! Highly recommend this company. They stand behind what they sell!

I am so pleased with my experience, not just with the ERA-EXKIT Wired Doorbell Range Extender, but with 1800dorbell.com. I had to order the extender on the phone because their website's checkout was temporarily not working. The salesperson could not have been nicer. The website has great information, including installation instructions and a video. I received it promptly and, just as advertised, it was easy to install and works great. Thank you, 1800doorbell.
