Monitor multiple doors or windows by adding additional contacts to your alert system. This tiny contact packs a punch with a 600-foot range to the chime/receiver. Monitor customers coming in your door, or great for use at home to get a warning when someone gets out of bed and opens a door or window. Perfect for wandering children, teens, or aging parents. Compatible with all SS products. NOTE: Contact ONLY. It must have a compatible receiver to work.
The SS135 is the plug-in chime receiver from the SS110 kit, sold on its own so you can hear your SS Series doorbell in more rooms. Plug it into any standard outlet and pair it with your push button or door contact; when triggered it plays your chosen melody and flashes a blue LED. It offers 58 melodies, four volume levels up to about 90 dB, plus mute, and up to 600 ft of range in open air. Add as many receivers as you need.
The SS155 is a plug-in wireless strobe receiver for SS Series doorbells. Each time a paired push button or door contact is triggered, it flashes a bright LED strobe 15 times and plays your chosen chime. Add it to an SS system wherever a chime alone is easy to miss: a noisy room, a back office, or a room used by someone who is hard of hearing. It offers 58 melodies, four volume levels up to 90 dB, plus mute, and up to 600 ft of range in open air. It is the same receiver used in the WC180-SS kit.

Is this the right fit?
Good fit when
Use this when you need a complete setup with the button or transmitter and receiver included, instead of trying to match separate parts.
Look at another option when
Look at a separate transmitter or receiver when you are only replacing one part of a system that already works.
Range reality
600 ft is the published open-air range. Real-world range is lower when the signal crosses walls, metal, masonry, vehicles, shelving, or dense trees.
Setup note
Place the button or transmitter where the event happens, then place the receiver where the alert needs to be heard or seen. Test the signal before final mounting.
WC180-SS-DUO: The Strobe Doorbell Kit with Two Receivers
The WC180-SS-DUO is our WC180-SS flashing strobe doorbell with a second receiver already in the box. You get one SS111 wireless push button and two SS155 plug-in receivers, each with a bright LED strobe and a loud chime. Plug one receiver in where you spend the day and the other in the bedroom, the workshop, or the far end of the house, and both flash and sound when the button is pressed. It is the kit for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing, or for a noisy home, who found that one receiver could not be seen from every room.
Everything else is the same as the single-receiver kit: 58 chime melodies, a range of up to 600 feet in the open, 17,000 privacy codes, and room to add up to 58 SS Series transmitters later.
How the WC180-SS-DUO Works
The SS111 button sends a coded radio signal when it is pressed. Every SS155 receiver that has been paired to that button answers at once: the chime plays the melody you chose and the white LED strobe flashes in a burst you cannot miss, even in a bright room or with the TV on. There is no wiring. The button runs on its battery, and each receiver plugs straight into a standard wall outlet.
Because the two receivers both listen for the same button, you do not have to choose one spot for the alert. Put one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Put one upstairs and one downstairs. If one unit is on the other side of the house from the door, the 600-foot open-air range gives you plenty of slack, though walls, metal siding, and masonry reduce it, so test both spots before you commit to them.
Setting It Up
Plug both receivers into outlets where the flash will be seen.
Press the button. The receiver that was paired at the factory will chime and flash with the default Ding-Dong melody.
If the second receiver does not answer, pair it: on that receiver, press the music change button until you hear the melody you want, then put the receiver into pairing mode and press the push button within five seconds. The manual walks through the exact button presses.
Mount the button beside the door with the included double-sided tape or the screws and anchors. Keep it off metal surfaces, which shorten the range.
Set each receiver's volume with its volume button: high, low, or muted. Muting the sound does not turn off the strobe.
How It Differs from the WC180-SS
The only difference is the second receiver. The button, the receivers, the melodies, the range, and the expansion limits are identical. Buying the DUO costs less than a WC180-SS plus a separate SS155 receiver, and it saves pairing the second unit yourself in most cases.
Choose the WC180-SS if one room is all you need to cover, or if you already own a receiver.
Choose the WC180-SS-DUO for two rooms, two floors, a home office plus a living area, or a small shop with a back room.
Need more? Add an SS155 for a third room or an SS111 push button for a second door; each button can have its own melody so you know which door it was.
Metal building or very long distance? Look at the ERA-DCKIT, which has a range of up to 4,000 feet and works the same way.

Where the WC180-SS-DUO Fits
Homes where someone is deaf or hard of hearing and moves between rooms during the day. Two-story houses where a single chime never reached the bedroom. Home offices with the door closed. Small shops, salons, and workshops with a front counter and a back room, where a flash on both sides means nobody walks in unnoticed. Caregivers also use it with the receivers in the client's room and the carer's room.
