The SS131 by Safeguard Supply is a Magnetic Door Contact Alerts When Door Is Opened. With a range of up to 1,000 ft. from the transmitter (this sensor) to a compatible receiver, this is a magnetic door contact best used in large homes or small to medium-sized businesses. Simply use the double-sided tape supplied with the SS131 sensor to affix the smaller piece to the door and the larger piece to the door frame. When the magnetic is separated, the sensor will immediately transmit a radio signal to the SS135 plug-in receiver and will play the selected melody. Tried the ss130 with one contact just to see if a product at such a price point could perform at all. It worked just as advertised so I went ahead and set up all the doors with contacts. I love how each one can have its own sound. I would give one more star if there were more single note/sound options. I really don't know who wants to hear a whole song every time a door opens.
