The SS130 has a magnetic door/window contact and a plug-in receiver with a small LED light that blinks. Whenever the magnets are separated by the door or window opening, the receiver would be alerted up to 600 feet away.
This is an open-door chime alert, meaning opening a door or window triggers it. This system is compatible with multiple receivers, transmitters, or Safeguard Supply SS series items. There are 58 melodies to choose from and four different volume settings. The easy installation, waterproof transmitter, and compacted receiver size make the SS130 a tough system to beat!

This wireless chime does exactly what I wanted it to do. It's also loud enough for me to hear it when I have a loud machine running in my shop. When I first hooked it up, I had to hear the various chimes to decide which one would be loud enough to compete with the machines I have to run in my shop. This does the trick. I would recommend.
Good product delivered on time.
We have had problems with wireless doorbells and wireless door opener chimes when the building has lots of wire or building steel in the walls. The signal doesn't make it through the walls so a back room doesn't hear the doorbell or the door open chime. Until we started using long range 1800doorbell products. They have solved the problems and we highly recommend them!
