RE-4K-PLUS is a long-range Dakota Alert receiver for compatible 4000 Series transmitters. It is a good choice when you need more than a basic chime receiver, especially if the system also has to trigger external devices like bells, strobes, or other 12V accessories.
UT-4000
The UT-4000 is a commercial-grade, wireless push button (or door contact) compatible with Dakota’s 4000 series of products. Pair the push button with the receiver, mount it on the door, and it will transmit a wireless signal up to 5000 ft. Use it as a door/window contact to alert you when the door is open. **Please note that it IS NOT compatible with the Dakota Alert 2500 series or the ERA series by Safeguard Supply.**

The UT-SR400 is a Dakota Alert 4000 Series kit built from two proven parts: the UT-4000 transmitter and the SR-4000 smart receiver. The transmitter can be used as a wireless push button for a front counter, delivery door, service entrance, gate office, or warehouse entry. It can also be installed as a magnetic door/window contact, so the receiver alerts when the door opens.
This kit is a good fit when you want a complete long-range alert setup but prefer the smart receiver instead of the standard plug-in chime receiver used in the UTDCR-4000 kit. The SR-4000 keeps the practical receiver features installers often need, including two Form C relays, a live 12VDC output, four volume levels, visual indication, and support for multiple zones. It also adds Wi-Fi/app notification capability, so the alert is not limited to people standing near the receiver.
The 5,000 ft. range is the published open-air rating. Real buildings can reduce that distance, especially when the signal must pass through concrete, metal siding, racking, vehicles, masonry, or several interior walls. For best results, pair the transmitter and receiver before final mounting, then test the signal from the actual door or entry point.
Important: this kit is for Dakota Alert 4000 Series equipment. It is not compatible with Dakota Alert 2500 Series products or the ERA Series by Safeguard Supply.
