Simply mount the door/window contact on the door you would like to monitor and when the door is opened, the sensor sends a radio signal to the receiver, up to 200 feet away. Or, use the product as a push button. When the visitor pushes the button, the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver and it plays a chime sound.

Much better than previous brand

I had a different brand for past 12 years but after 3 units failed over this time, I decided to try a different brand, 1800 doorbell. Worked right out of the box. Picks up deer, coyotes, turkey flocks and autos and trucks. I'm very happy with this unit. I got a receiver for house and garage and one transmitter for drive.
