The DLT-100 is a transceiver and the DLR-50 is just a receiver. They are both battery powered and have a wireless range of up to 100 ft indoors and 200 ft outdoors. An unlimited number of transceivers and receivers can be used as long as they stay within the given range. You can use either a headset or the built in microphone and speaker to operate the device.
