- SS111 push button: one 12V 23A alkaline battery. It comes installed; pull the tab to activate it. Battery life is up to about 16 months, depending on how often the button is pressed.
- SS132 door contact: one 3V CR1632 lithium battery, included.
- SS135 and SS155 receivers: no batteries. They plug into a standard wall outlet (AC 110-220 V).
Will I lose my settings if the power goes out?
No. SS receivers keep their pairing and melody settings through a power outage.
How do I know the button battery is low?
The SS111 has an LED that lights when it sends a signal. If the LED no longer lights when you press the button, or the receiver only responds from closer to the door than before, replace the battery.
