This is a replacement Doorbell Light Bulb manufactured by Thomas and Betts, available in the LED lighted (DH1202L/DH1201L) and non-lighted versions (DH1202/DH1201). With a gold rim and white button for the DH1202 and DH1202L and a silver rim and white button for the DH1201 and DH1201L, these are buttons ONLY, with the industry standard 5/8″ diameter that recesses into the exterior wall. Great to replace worn-out and damaged doorbell light bulb buttons, the brass rim makes this product an excellent fit for many existing wired doorbell plates.
Take a look at your wired doorbell push button. If it’s a round center push, chances are it’s the industry standard size, and this doorbell light bulb replacement part will fit. If you don’t want a lighted button, choose the DH1201 or DH1202, which are non-lighted doorbell bulbs.

Q & A
The DH1201 is a replacement center button that measures 5/8 of an inch. This replacement button does not contain a diode and we do not carry any product that does have a diode. If your Nutone chime plays multiple tunes, you would most likely need a diode in the button. This button and the DH1200L series are the only replacement push buttons that we carry. Thank you,

Excellent product, perfect replacement for an old doorbell button for which the plastic push button piece cracked and fell off. First tried buying a substitute from a big box store but they only carried LED lighted, and it turned out to be overly and distractingly bright, even in peak sunlight.
This product is like the old original it replaced–metal materials and feels solid. The best part is that it is unlit which is what I needed. 1800doorbell website carries both lighted and unlighted variants, covering all one might need. Very satisfied with this product!
Great!
Thanks again for your assistance and taking the time to answer my questions. It works perfectly.
Got it quickly. It was a perfect fit!
I really like this product
Thank You, for having these available. Just what I needed to complete the project.
Perfect hard to find (nowadays) non lighted button. Supper fast shipping. Thank you.
Perfect replacement! Glad I found you .
Exactly what I was searching for!
Buttons are well made, look nice, and most importantly, work well! I plan to order more.
received my order in a jiffy and everything was in fine shape!! much better than usual ! THANKS A BUNCH!! WAYNE
Order came very quickly..merchandise was exactly what I ordered and needed…would def recommend to others..thankyou 1800 doorbell
exactly what i needed
I needed a non- lighted button for doorbell, couldn’t find from local hardware stores and thankfully was able to locate online at 1800Doorbell. Checkout was easy and received the button timely. Thank you 1800Doorbell for carrying non-light version, they are hard to find!
The non-lighted button looks nice and works for an old garage door opener, but unfortunately the button press does not have the tactile feel I was hoping for. By tactile feel, I mean the perceptible click response of buttons found on electronic equipment, such as power and mouse buttons. Fortunately the button is bigger and requires less force to press than the old/previous button it replaced. I mounted the button on a blank nylon wall plate, but a metal wall plate would have been better since the plastic one noticeably flexes when the button is pressed.
Button is illuminated, the door-bell rings.
One button works fine and the other button is intermittent and needs to be replaced
The DH1202L replacement lighted doorbell pushbutton handles 8V to 24Volt doorbell/chimes system!! I have a 1940’s NUTONE Jefferson Westminister 8 note Long Tube K Series Door Chimes that operates on 24 Volts. The DH1202L handles the 24V System and operates this equipment properly, as recommended by the 1800 DOORBELL Customer Service Staff. Timely delivery from a quality company!!
Items received quickly but unfortunately they turned out to have a light bulb inside and here in the desert they heated up to 140 degrees (too hot to handle). I exchanged them for the real LED ones and now they can ring the bell without burning a finger. The exchange was very quick and painless as well.
We always order the same gold/silver lighted buttons for our decorative doorbell business and 1800 always has them and they ship them out quickly.
strange that a small (but important) replacement item like this should be hard to find in the right size for (at least what used to be) a standard doorbell opening, but it was. Happily, the written description provided information to confirm the unit should fit and, guess what, it did. A small victory for a homeowner who didn’t want to get involved with drilling into a stucco wall or trying to expand an old face plate. Only question is why the light is still incandescent v. LED since it’s on all the time, but I’m still satisfied overall.
