What You Should Know Before Using
- The transmitter (push button) supplied with this kit comes paired with the receiver from the factory, set to default ringtone “Ding-Dong”. If you are only using the push button included with this kit and are okay with the “Ding-Dong” ringtone, then there is no programming/pairing required.
- IF NOT, please refer to the “Quick Start” section to pair the transmitter with the receiver and set your favorite ringtone(s).
- It is not advisable to mount the transmitter onto metal surfaces as it will diminish or block RF signals between the transmitter and the receiver. However, if this is the only option then we recommend that you use the double sided tape provided for mounting the push button.
- Operating range will decrease if battery in transmitter is in low power status.
- It is not advisable to mount the transmitter in the outdoor directly
- without any shelter which could accelerate the aging of plastic materials.
Quick Start
- Volume Control Button Location: Press the Volume Control button on the receiver to toggle between High and Low volume and mute. *The volume level setting does not affect the strobe light.
- Set Ringtone Using the Music Change Button: Press the
Use the Music Change button to choose your favorite ringtone. Stop
pressing the button once you hear the ringtone you want to use. - Pairing a transmitter to the receiver:
- (1) Select the ringtone you want to associate with the transmitter.
- Press the Volume Control button for 5 seconds until a “Ding-Dong” sound is heard, and the LED strobe starts flashing. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
- Push the center push on the push button (or other transmitter) to send a signal to the receiver.
- Press the “Learn” button ( symbol ) once at the side of the receiver, the receiver will sound 2 beeps. It indicates the receiver is in learn mode process.
- Press the transmitter (push button) once, and you will hear the chime receiver sound. This indicates the receiver is learning the signal from the transmitter properly.
- If this is the desired melody/tone, move to the next step. If you want a different melody or tone (for a second push-button for example) press the transmitter to scroll through the built-in tunes in the receiver.
Stop pressing the transmitter when you hear the desired melody. There are total 3 different chime tunes for
selection.

– Westminster 4-note chime - Press the “learn” button again on the side of the receiver, the receiver will sound 2 beeps to exit the learn mode (Or, just wait approx. 20secs, the receiver will exit the learn mode automatically.)
- Press the transmitter, the receiver will sound the tune selected, and then flash
The WC180 is a wireless door chime kit that features a plugin receiver and a wireless push button. When triggered, the receiver will play a selected melody/tone and will flash approximately 15 times.
PLEASE NOTE: the push button and receiver included in the WC180 Kit come preprogrammed. The instructions below are useful for adding a second push button or replacing the included push-button.
