Can I Add More Receivers or a Strobe to a Doorbell Extender?
Yes. ERA and LRA extenders work with as many receivers as you need, and the plug-in receivers can flash a strobe with or without sound.
Yes. One extender transmitter can ring as many receivers as you want to place around the house. Receivers are for indoor use.
ERA extenders (ERA-EXKIT, ERA-EXTX)
Add more ERA-RXPG plug-in receivers. Each one has a volume control and three modes: sound only, strobe only, or sound and strobe. It offers 12 melodies, and the strobe flashes for about 15 seconds at 2 flashes per second. The ERA-EXTX also works with other ERA receivers, such as the ERA-DCRX and the ERA-VPRX portable receiver.
LRA extenders (LRA-EX1000, LRA-EX1000S, LRA-EXTX)
Add LRA-DCRXS plug-in receivers, LRA-DCRX receivers or LRA-VPRX portable receivers. There is no limit on how many LRA receivers one transmitter can ring. LRA receivers have a switch for strobe only, chime only, or both.
ERA and LRA parts do not mix. Add receivers from the same series as your extender.
