The first unit came completely destroyed (not your fault) so I called your office. A very pleasant lady apologized and said that you would send me a replacement right-a-way. After a couple of weeks went by with no unit coming, I called again and the lady that time apologized because they had failed to send me the replacement. She said that the order would be worked right away and indeed, a few days later I got the new unit.(which I have not installed yet). I am very pleased with your company and the way that you reacted to my situation. Boo-boos can happen to anyone so I'm not upset but indeed thankful for the way I was treated. Thank you again!

What powers a bell, buzzer or siren?

Check each product. The DB-2000 buzzer runs on a doorbell transformer (8-16V AC) or 4.5-9V DC. The SS-FIREBELL12V bell, the 12V sirens and the SS-STROBE lights are 12V DC. The Milton hose signal bells run on 110V household power. Match the accessory to its power source before ordering, and see doorbell transformers and wire for low-voltage power parts.

Can I add a bell, siren or strobe to a wireless door chime?

Yes, if the receiver has output terminals. Business receivers such as the ERA-DCRX have outputs that a 12V DC bell, siren or strobe can be wired to. A standard plug-in home chime receiver usually has no outputs. See business door chimes for kits built this way.
