Christmas Tree Lights On/Off Control 1225L/1225LC/1225LS Congratulations on a wise purchase!

IMPORTANT

• Do not install over 1200 miniature bulbs or 600 watts to this converter box.

INSTALLATION

1. Hang tree lights according to the manufacturer's directions.
2. Plug Christmas tree lights into an outlet to make sure they work.
3. Attach one end of the ornament cord to the brass arm found on the bottom of the converter and the opposite end to the ornament.
4. Plug the tree lights into converter unit.
5. Place the ornament in a convenient location on your Christmas tree.
6. Plug the converter into a wall outlet.
7. Wait a moment, then touch the ornament to turn on/off lights.

Christmas tree lights will not come on.

• Check that tree lights are plugged into the converter.
• Check that the converter is plugged into a wall outlet.
• Check that the ornament cord is attached to the brass arm tightly on the converter.

Tree lights go on by themselves.

• Move to a new location and plug into a different wall outlet. Line noise on some circuits may trigger the converter.
• Check that the ornament is clear of surrounding objects. Intermittent contact may trigger the circuit.

Tree lights do not go on/off.

• Check that the ornament is properly attached to the brass arm on the converter.
• Moisten your finger and touch the ornament. If the lights go on, you may be one of those few people with skin that is too dry to be conductive and will not trigger the converter.
• Try plugging in the ornament in a room with a wood floor without carpet. Some carpets contain conductive material that grounds out the touch sensitivity circuit.
• Calluses on fingers act as an insulator. Try touching the ornament with the back of your hand.

The product you have purchased is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for the period stated on the package.
