My doorbells were not working, so I figured the transformer was the problem. This one arrived quickly, was a good price, was easy to install install, and works perfectly.
Haven’t used the transformer as yet – keeping it for future problems. Have installed the two doorbell buttons. I had hoped to swap out the inner mechanism with the old cover (which was spray painted to match house trim) but the two were not compatible. So, went with the nickel finish. Thought the new circuit board was for digital system (marked + & -) but it worked with 16 VAC just fine. In fact the LED on circuit is very bright and easy to see and should last longer than the old incandescent bulb. Had to drill out the screw holes as new screws were bigger in diameter. Am I being too picky? Anyway, I’d buy it again.
