Pictures are better match for the finish than description, trust your eyes. Aged brass doesn't match schlage antique brass finish as well as the brushed brass did. Quality of hardware is better than price would suggest. Highly recommend.

Does this doorbell button come with a diode wired in it? I purchased a new doorbell, but it would not work without a diode. Don't have a solder gun, would rather buy a button that will work when installing without wiring a diode into button?
