Hard of Hearing?  Need a Doorbell with Flashing Light?

The LRA-DCRXS is a plug-in Doorbell with Flashing Light, wireless door chime receiver compatible with the LRA series of products by Safeguard Supply.  The receiver may be used to expand your current LRA system, purchased with a compatible transmitter, or used to replace an existing LRA receiver.
The receiver works with up to two (2) different LRA transmitters such as the LRA-PBTX Push Button, the LRA-DCTX Door Contact Sensor, LRA-MSTX Motion Sensor, etc.  Simply plug the receiver into a standard wall outlet, pair it with a transmitter, and you now have a loud wireless chime receiver that also features a bright strobe light–making it a great addition for the elderly or hard-of-hearing.  The receiver features three operation modes; 1) strobe only, 2) sound only, and 3) strobe and sound.  Add as many of these receivers as you want to your system and plug them in throughout your home to distribute the sound and ensure you never miss a visitor.

This receiver is featured in the LRA-D1000S Wireless Door Chime Kit and the LRA-EX1000S Strobe Extend-a-Chime Kit.

Wireless Door Chime Receiver with Strobe Features:

  • Up to 1,000 ft. range from a compatible transmitter to this receiver.
  • May use in conjunction with multiple LRA-DCRXS Strobe Receivers and also with any compatible LRA receivers such as the LRA-DCRX and the LRA-VPRX.
  • Work with up to two (2) different transmitters.
  • 18 melodies to choose from (one melody chosen for each transmitter paired with system).
  • Solid red LED on chime receiver will notify you when paired transmitters have low battery status.
  • Depending on the melody chosen, the receiver sounds at a decibel rating from 80 dBa to 95 dBa.  Extremely Loud!
  • Three operation modes; 1) strobe only, 2) sound only, and 3) strobe and sound.
  • Chime is Indoor rated only.  Push button is weatherproof.

Just what I needed for my mother

This doorbell RINGS, AND LIGHTS UP when the door bell is pushed, so mom can See and HEAR the doorbell. I bought an extra doorbell for the back door and was able to program it to a different sound so she could tell Front or Back door rings. Thanks so much for this product a GREST Thumbs UP

The1800Doorbell is an excellent doorbell. It has many chimes and strobes lights. It is very loud. It can be set up without the strobe lights. It is the perfect doorbell. A true doorbell.

WOW + WOW

We installed this door bell while mom was on vacation. Went by upon her return and said, I think we need to test the door bell, she said OK. Well to her shock, she said "what its that" and I said it's your new door bell. We tested in several locations and she could hear the bell. I don't think I will have to call her on the phone to get her to answer the door. Too bad they don't make a bell for the phone, because that is a hit and miss still for the phone ringing. This product is great. Don't buy the 20 dollar door bell you can't hear anyway. This is well worth the price.

1800 Doorbell

Absolutely love this doorbell and receiver set-up. I ordered the doorbell transmitter unit along with three receivers to place in various rooms of the house. My mother, who is hearing impaired due to age, loves this system as well -- she can't complain that she can't hear the door bell any more. We can select a chime of our liking, I like that; AND, the receiver light flashes as well, so if you can't hear at all, you certainly will notice the light flashing on and off. Love this doorbell set-up.

Great Service!

6 stars for the service!!! I don't know about the quality of the product. Initial install went okay for a couple of weeks. Batteries may be dead and it was suggested that a power supply be used. They shipped the power supply that day and it came quickly! I have not installed the power supply yet, so I'm holding back on rating the quality of the product. I definitely would buy from them again though!!!
