The RC3253 is an add-on door chime receiver used in a variety of Carlon and Dimango wireless door chime systems. This is a plug-in door chime that you may use in conjunction with Carlon push buttons like the RC3301 wireless button, or even with RC3460T which are magnetic door or window sensor entrance alerts.

No brainer to install, but I expected the volume to be more than it is (even when switched to loud). One weird thing that I found was that when the door bell is pressed, the original bell sounds first then about 2 or 3 seconds latter the new one goes off. I expected everything to go off at once, not a big deal though.

I ordered the RC3253 Wireless Plug In Add-On Door Chime Receiver and found is easy to install and the receiver has a volume control.rnOn the high setting you can hear it all of my 4000 sf home. It is a great product and I would recommend it.
