The LH3000 is a kit developed by Security2020. This kit provides long range wireless doorbell capability of up to 600 feet. Ideal in locations where you would like to put a doorbell but wiring it is too difficult.
The kit consists of two components. The UT-3000 transmitter and the WR-3000 receiver. For details about each of these individual products, please view their product descriptions.
The transmitter is the UT-3000 which also has terminals for Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) input. These inputs can be used with any detector contacts.
The kit is offered in two versions. The LH3000 kit features the UT-3000 with the WR-3000, plugin receiver. The LH3000P features the PR-3000, portable handheld receiver.
The UT-3000 is not outdoor rated. We use this transmitter outdoors under and an awning and have no issues with it. However, for wet conditions, you can purchase a wired push button, just about any brand, and wire it to the UT-3000. When the button is pushed, the UT-3000 then sends the wireless signal to the receiver. When you connect it to a wired pushbutton, put the UT-3000 indoors and the Push button outdoors.
