With a range of up to 150 feet, the signal can pass through doors and walls. Metal, concrete, stucco, and other environmental factors may but down on the range.
The wireless chime button ships with the necessary button. Once installed, the battery life should be approximately 2 years. Easily change the battery by flippig off the cover and replacing it.
