The bulbs on these holiday candles have an LED bulb with three settings. Off, on, and Flicker. The flicker feature makes them flicker to look like a realistic flame. The two most popular models are the FPC1525 and the FPC1225. The biggest difference between these two models is the bulb color on the FPC1525 has a warm white color while the FPC1225 is a warm orange color (more like a flame.)
Because these candles feature a LED bulb, they provide superior brightness while reducing battery draw. The manufacturer states the candles will run for 45 days on 2 “C” alkaline batteries (not included). You simply turn them on and the photocell turns them on at dusk and off at dawn. Also, because the bulb is LED, it is always cool to the touch. The candles also ship with a window clip to in case the widow sill is not wide enough. There are also various color finishes for the candle base.
