FPC1225 LED Candle with Aged Bronze Base
Last year, the FPC1225 LED Holiday Candle series of candles were hot sellers for us. As a matter of fact, we ran out by mid November and so did the manufacturer. On the surface, LED Holiday candles may be something you’ve never heard of. These are battery operated imitation candles with a LED bulb that look like a candle with a live flame. These candles are chock full of features like a photocell that automatically turns the candles on at dusk and off dawn, thus extending battery life. The bulb itself looks very realistic with its “flicker” setting. Not only can you turn the bulb on and off, you can also set it to flicker like a realistic flame.
The LED bulb itself has revolutionized the candles. In the past, the bulbs were incandescent which are traditional light bulbs. The were hot to the touch, fragile, and tend to burn out. LED bulbs never get hot. Now matter how long they run, the stay cool to the touch. The LED bulb is a little tougher than an incandescent bulb and will typically last a life time. LED bulbs, on the flicker setting, will look even more realistic. The candles are powered by Alkaline C batteries which will should last the entire holiday season because of the LED bulb and photocell control.
The FPC1225 are single tier candles with a plastic base designed to look like a metallic base. They are available in a pewter base (FPC1225P), a brass base (FPC1225), and an aged bronze base (FPC1225abz).
