- IRPR 3000 Wireless Entrance Alert with Portable Receiver
The IRPR-3000 is a wireless entrance alert kit that adds an element of portability to traditional entrance alert sets. The transmitter of this system is a motion based sensor that detects movement within the detection zone and is for indoor use but may be used outdoors under the protection under an eve. The sensor/transmitter is powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (not included).
The sensor has three detection settings based on jumper setting placement inside the cover. On high it has a detection range of 40 feet, medium is 25 feet, and low is 12 feet. The sensor also features a that you can turn on or off to flash when motion is detected. The sensor also features a setting for using the sensor indoors or outdoors as well as a rest setting timer, 15 seconds or 120 seconds. Another great feature of the sensor is a modifiable mask lens which allows the detection zone to be adjusted between 16 to 100 degrees.
The PR-3000 is the receiver included in this kit. It is a small hand held receiver that will fit in the palm of your hand. When the transmitter/receiver sends a the alert to this receiver, the zone alerted will be displayed on the LCD screen. The unit can store up to 400 events with a date and time stamp and up to 999 events without a time or date stamp. Included with the PR-3000 is a a rechargeable battery and plug in recharger. The receiver will work on battery power as well as work when plugged into the wall.
