When a house is planned out there are literally hundreds of things that have to be taken into account. The primary structure, plumbing, wiring and a variety of other things all have to coordinate with each other to make a functional house. Without wiring done throughout the house you won’t have power to your home. Without plumbing you won’t be able to have toilets or sinks. Without a primary structure..well, you just wouldn’t have a house. Some houses are specialized for where they are located. For example, you’d never find a brick home in Southern California. They aren’t able to withstand the earthquakes found here. You’ll find all sorts of waterproofing techniques up in the NorthWest due to the mass amounts of rain they receive. Whatever type of house you have, however, changes are you have some type of doorbell installed. The issue is the doorbell planner has the last chance at the blueprint of the house. He has to plan around everyone else and is oftentimes stuck with doing things that he normally wouldn’t due.

For example, two story houses very rarely have an adequate speaker system that works with their doorbell. The second story oftentimes has a hard time hearing the doorbell because it only rings downstairs. Sound just doesn’t travel that far, especially when forced to go around so many turns. Sure, some two story houses do have a speaker system that can be heard throughout the house. However, due to budget cuts and or laziness on the part of the house builders/planners, the large majority of these homes will always have a difficult time hearing their doorbell in specific parts of the house.

That is, if they don’t use a wireless doorbell system. These systems are unique from the usual because instead of having to have a wire run from the door unit, to the speaker to the power you have no wires at all. The standalone unit that sits next to your door is powered by battery. The speaker can be powered by battery or you can get a system that lets you plug the speaker in for unlimited longevity. These speaker systems are nice because you’re able to put the speaker wherever it is needed rather than having it in a set location. The people that build your home don’t know where you spend your time. Only you do and your wireless doorbell should be placed in such a location.

These wireless doorbells can also be used to augment systems that are already set in place. With a few quick electrical connections wireless doorbells can duplicate what the original system is already putting out. Except for this time you’re able to put the wireless doorbell speaker wherever it is needed. These wireless doorbells are great for families who have lots of company but spend the majority of their time upstairs. With these types of systems you’ll never “accidently” miss your in laws or that package that needs to be signed for. You’ll be able to hear the doorbell whenever it rings!
